BOOK 3: Chapter 11: The Morning After The morning light slips through the sheer curtains, casting a golden sheen across the rumpled bed. The sheets are tangled around her legs, twisted and soaked with the remnants of a night she still can’t believe happened. Her body stirs before her mind fully registers it. A dull ache throbs in her hips, between her thighs, in places she hadn’t felt sore in years—not like this.

My head throbbed, the world spun, and something was changing me, tearing its way through me, violent and unstoppable. The pretty dress began to tear everywhere... "AAAHHH!"

He whispered, "When will we have a baby too?" I replied with a grin, "Whenever they choose to come into our life." I had already told him what happened when I chose him. He kept quiet for a long time and seemed to be in deep thought. He then said to me, "That must've been one of the worst moments of your life. You didn't have me around then, but from now on, I'll do my best to protect you and ensure you never suffer again." He kept his word. He was heartbroken when he learned that I had been badly hurt before and even had a child that I never carried to term.
