I murmur unobtrusively, hindered by his weight. Liam is holding up at the edge, and he speedily tears Felix away from me. "Continuously causing problems, huh?" He asks, slapping Felix generously toward the back. The activity appears to shake Felix back to life, and he clumsily bounces away. "It's a virus out there. I prompt not bouncing in." He awkwardly shudders, and I race to get him a dry shirt. "I'm parched," Elijah expresses out of the quiet, "does anybody have some water?"

No time for cleanliness, I thought, as I threw open the cloth over Felix. ‘What about you?!’ he groaned. ‘Jump!’ I gave him a shove and he flew through the angry orange flames. Felix paused for a millisecond to check himself before turning back to me.

“You’ll always come back to me, Isaac. So how about we cut all this pretending to hate me bullshit and skip to the end.” “Fuck you.” How was I ever in love with this douchebag? When I try to leave again, he doesn’t stop me. “Shit, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that.” I falter in my steps and almost trip to the ground. Did I hear that right? Jared Walker apologising? “I really want us to be friends,” he adds. “Just because I fucked up the first time doesn’t mean I’ll fuck up forever.”

He corrected himself, gritting the words. His breath started getting heavy. Instant fury enveloped him. He began to pace left and right, his uproarious eyes looking deep in thought. He was murmuring in between his walk, hands interlocking in back of his neck as he let out a deranged growl. "I WILL FUCKING SHRED HIM INTO PIECES. I WILL FUCKING TEAR THAT BASTARD APART!"

He strode to the control panel, glanced at the blood-red error code on the screen, and his face immediately showed an agonized expression. He slapped his thigh and pointed at the screen before saying to Bill, "We're doomed! We're completely doomed! Mr. Lamar, the motherboard is completely burned out! It was originally just a problem with the driver chip; we still had a sliver of hope for repair. After he messed around with it, the high-voltage current directly damaged the main control CPU! This machine is now just a pile of scrap metal! It has absolutely no value for repair!" Every word Henry spoke struck Bill's heart like a hammer blow.

He ruffled my hair, murmured something under his breath, and suddenly—wings unfurled across his back. Smiling like the hero of some childhood cartoon, he scooped me into his arms and shot upward. The next second… "Thud!" Felix slammed straight into the ceiling. "Urghhh… Honey, it hurts!" I fell silent. What an idiot bird.

"Master!" Felix cried out. He then glared at Babbit, exclaiming, "You killed my master! I'm going to kill you!" Felix's eyes grew bloodshot at the sight of Wilbur kneeling stiffly. A white, glowing armor appeared around him as he charged toward Babbit, aiming a sharp punch toward his face. Babbit raised his right hand. A black vortex appeared in his palm, sucking the energy right out of Felix's attack as he grabbed Felix's fist. "Stop, Felix! You've got the wrong idea here!"

Felix was transforming. Slowly, slowly, thick long hair sprouted out, covering the side of his face. A sharp widow's peak formed at his forehead and the tip of his ears grew out, becoming elf-like. Suddenly, Felix was grabbing Elias's hands and yanking them so the rope that had been used to bind his hand to the arm of the metal chair came away. The nearly thinned rope sliced through his wrist, causing him to give a painful jerk. He had seen Werewolves transform but this was different. Felix was a mixture of beast and human and when sharp claws shot out of his fingernails, it sliced deep into Elias's wrists and more blood trickled down his wrist and to the ground with rapid drops.

Reynard shouted randomly. "What skill?" asked Felix. Reynard replied, "Your god’s eye skill, like Uncle Fin!" Felix winced as an absolute kick landed on his butt. "Damn you! I”ve been trying!" he snapped. Reynard joked, “That’s why you upgrade your skins, don’t be such a noob!" Felix looked sharply at Reynard, who was again disturbing his concentration. "You should instruct your subordinates to check all of the CCTV instead of bothering me here!"
