I stayed in the ring as someone else picked me. I didn’t see his profile, but he was built like a bull. Five minutes later, he was tapping out.
As I made to leave and the spectators cheered for me, a slight, wiry kid got in. I closed my eyes. I didn’t want him. he was too small. But I had forgotten to set my limit on the number of bouts, and he was already inside.
