I shyly answered. “Whacha doin down here?” He asked me as the feeling increased. It was in the gym doors, where Nathan and Junto went. What was I doing? “Sorry I didn't mean to bother you, I just…” I what? What was I doing, following a strange feeling I had? That was stupid. “Yeah?” Spencer pushed. “Hey, can you tell me whose is in there?” I surprised myself, pointing to the matted room. Spencer pushed play on his show again and the sound of gunshots echoed in the room. “Nathan and Junto are wrestling. They're the best fighters in the group, and all they seem to do is beat the crap out of each other.”

Chapter 30 The Wrestle Iris watched the crowded place in awe. This wrestle although was a little different. There were crazy people around. Most of them had tattoos on them. They were shrieking and yelling and cheering their favorites. Since it was an adult's only boxing club all the people were aged 18 to around 40's. Few of them looked a little older but each of them was excited. Two guys were hovering around the strands murmuring something and also taking money from the people there.

I roll my eyes, “You on crack? Clay hasn’t won a fight against Wolfe since, fucking never. Easy money.” I pull my wallet out of my tactical pants and pony up sixty bucks to add to the pile on the hood. The scene before us plays out much in the way I guessed. When Clay makes Wolfe drop the soda and it splatters on the pavement at his booted feet, it’s game on. My burly cousin drops the rest of his stash on the ground to free up his arms and charges at Clay. Clay laughs like a maniac during their deranged version of London Bridge Is Falling Down as they wrestle one another. A few bystanders have stopped to watch the wrestling match. If you want to earn as a wrestler, you have to fight in one of those underground fight platforms. The problem with these places are that anything goes. There are no rules. You win any way you can and earn a commission from the bets and amount of audience you attract."

I gently bit my lower lip to avoid myself from suddenly crying. A few minutes later, the wrestling match began. Taek-woon was the first player from SADI Violet and going against him was Troy. Since the match is called ssireum which is a traditional Korean sport, it involves using one's entire body in a battle of strength and technique. Both Taek-woon and Troy went to the center and grabbed each other's belts called a satba or trouser waist. As soon as the referee whistled, the two began moving forward against each other, slowly turning around and finding the chance to overpower the other.
