I was reading The Creature Within at the time and she surprised me by plopping down right next to me. “I didn’t know you were a fan of Kevin Kingsley,” she said, as if we had never even stopped being friends for a whole year. My heart leapt when I lifted my gaze from the pages to her crystal blue eyes. “I didn’t know you enjoyed reading, Tara,” I said with a smile. She shifted in the seat nervously, looking around for any prying ears, but everyone was happily talking with their own companions. She leaned in close to whisper to me.

Setting the picture to the side, Violet looked at the other things that were inside the drawer. The first thing that caught her eye was a small black book. The page Violet opened was a list. There was a name of a city, a first and last name, then a number, and finally an address. This had to be what Jeremy was looking for. She set the book to the side and looked at the rest of the contents. Some of them were letters discussing this Richard Morgan she’d heard so much about. Whoever he was, he was not only a thorn in the alpha’s side but a lot many other people.

I opened my eyes and saw Jade in front of me. I had fallen asleep on the couch while she was reading. " Yeah" I stood up in a rush. " I'll leave now." She said and was about leaving. " Come work here tomorrow." I said yawning. " But boss." " Yea, I'm the boss. So come here." I said. " Okay" she said and left. The novel was on the table, there was a sheet of paper inside it. I brought it out of the book and I saw writing. It was not up to a page,the summary was simpl and short:

**Viktor** I have spent the past few days researching the oldest prophecies. Perhaps they will hold more pieces of the ancient prophecy. There were once rumors that the ancient prophecy was broken up in to chapters. This has been some puzzle and so far I am not solving it. Today I have to make my way to the safe house. Dez has a keen eye, he may be able to piece this puzzle together. An apartment complex would make a vulnerable safe house, but in fact can be quite clever if one has the connections to fortify it. I have secretly kept friendly with some warlocks. Their magic is old but strong. The complex is modern and high tech as well.

Liam was going to kill him. “I came here because I found out Abigail works here”. Lucy said, ignoring his question. “And????” Damon asked. Lucy sighed. “I’m so sorry if I sounded rude Damon, It’s just that................” (Lucy leaned towards Damon’s table and whispered something to him for almost two minutes.) “Oh my God, Lucy, How could you keep such a big secret to yourself?” Damon asked furiously. Lucy shrugged. “I guess that’s why I was so determined to find out about Abigail’s whereabouts.”

Only when I spotted the closed door did I heave a sigh of relief. After that, I quickly dug out the note from the hidden pocket of my coat. A few words were scrawled on the piece of paper. "Quick, escape! Danger!" My heart skipped a beat out of horror. I quickly tore the note into pieces before stuffing it back into the hidden pocket. Then, I pulled out my phone and tapped on a WhatsApp chat box before typing out a message. I made sure to send the coordinates of my location too. When everything was done, I deleted the chat history immediately before placing my phone and my coat in their original positions. Finally, I sighed in relief.
