They had no idea. --- Climactic Confrontation The fight erupted with violent precision. Alexander moved like a storm, every strike calculated, every maneuver deadly. Blood, sweat, and anger mixed as he dismantled the traitor’s attempt with ruthless efficiency. I clung to the wall, heart racing, terrified yet mesmerized by the raw intensity of his power.

The forest bore witness to their primal dance, leaves stirred by the frenzy of combat, shadows playing on the moonlit canvas. Hidden and breathless, I observed the chilling spectacle before me. I look around as our side fights with everything they have. Wolves are falling. It's like time slows down. I watch Luke firing his guns. Jay's shifted and is punching his way out of a deadly group. Anton and Nigel are being overcome. River can't keep up. We're losing. Losing bad. My thoughts are broken and time returns to normal as someone shouts "THEY’RE RETREATING!"

The rogue, desperate and furious, manages to shake the wolf off, turning with a wild, crazed look in his eyes. He charges again, and I can see the madness burning within him. The wolf stands its ground, muscles tense, and then, in a breathtaking display of skill, it springs forward, meeting the rogue head-on.

Mine was grounding and homely. Lupus must have been fulfilling his task, as the clearing seemed to clear out almost instantly. I unfurled my fingers from my tightly clenched fist and flexed them. My eyes were fixed on Whiskey, as hers were on me. I spotted a wolf out of my peripherals as it charged for Whiskey. I suppose it thought I was distracting her enough. It was wrong. Whiskey didn’t even look away from my gaze as she swiped her arm out, slicing the axe across the chest of the fighter. It yelped and began to tumble back. Whiskey twirled with dizzying speed and swung the axe once more, embedding it in the neck of the wolf.
