The brush moved over his skin so lightly he didn’t flinch, but I saw his stomach tense each time she neared his hips.
“That’s Cosmos,” Silver whispered. “The universe on flesh. He’ll hold that pose for hours. Isn’t it exciting?”
I realized then that the entire yacht was the gallery.
Smaller pieces of “art” were scattered everywhere: a woman’s back turned into a forest scene, vines curling around her ribs; a man’s arms painted with abstract red slashes that looked like fresh wounds but were beautiful from a distance.
People moved among them, touching carefully, photographing, whispering praise.
