Someone went to great lengths to hide it, but clearly, they didn’t do a good enough job. I carry the first book to a nearby table and open it, my eyes scanning the pages. Then a single word leaps out at me: Mate.

As I took small bites of my meal, my mind wandered back to the book's descriptions. When breakfast was finally over, I excused myself politely and headed back to the garden. I retrieved the book from its hiding place and found a secluded spot where I could read in peace. The more I read, the more I realized how much had been lost to history. The white wolves were not the monsters they had been made out to be. They were beings of incredible power and kindness, who had only sought to live in harmony with others.

The memories came back to me, when Mother first read the book to Dahlia and me, the two of us begging her to read it every night from then, and finally to my first copy, a tattered note that was currently laying inside my suitcase. Not a lot of people enjoyed the tale, mainly because for once, it painted wolves as the villain. So people began to boycott traditions, refusing to share the legend in a bid to not 'corrupt' the mind of the younger wolves. Majority of the people disregarded this story ,only few who said they had seen this wolf believed in it. I turned around the book to see it's cover History of the unknown I turned the first page to see it's edition 20th February,2016 I have never seen this book before and didn't even knew that it existed till now. I turned the pages to see if I could find something about this thunder wolf but it was not mentioned anywhere else. At last I opened the page with the thunder mark and traced it with my fing
