Mated to the Alpha Twins

Mated to the Alpha Twins

I snapped, "Sit there and stare at me." I picked my book up with a grumble and continued reading, determined to ignore the freakish wolves. My mind couldn't focus on the book in my hands, it was busy coming up with insane senarios. What would make two wolves act this way? Maybe they were experimented on at a lab and had human-like intelligence? Maybe evolution had simply taken it's toll and produced much smarter creatures. All kinds of theories were running through my head, all of which were bouts of fiction and partial insanity. It was clear I was off my rocker. I looked up from my book and noticed the wolves were much closer now, sitting only ten feet away.

Between the Alpha and the Rogue, Fated to Choose Only One

Curiosity tugged at her to go to the library. She got out of the room and followed the path Alice had described. The library's doors creaked open, revealing rows of shelves stacked with books. The air was a bit dusty and cobwebs hung around. She wondered if people hardly came here. She trailed her fingers along the spines of the books until she found one titled: “The Lunar Bond, The mating of wolves” Her hand trembled slightly as she lifted the heavy book. She opened it, reading in silence about bonds, instinct and transformations.

Her Wolf King

Her Wolf King

Proved that darkness was not a threat but a protection. Twilight worked with young wolves. Taught them that shadows were natural. That darkness was part of life. That nothing to fear existed in the night. Echo helped wolves who grieved. Who felt empty. Who struggled with loss. Taught them that emptiness could resonate. Could reflect. Could carry meaning even when it felt like nothing remained. Whisper worked with the shy wolves. The quiet ones. The ones who struggled to speak. Taught them that silence had value. That quiet communication mattered. That is not all the meaning required.

The Wolf's Game

The Wolf's Game

“You could end it, you know. Pick a winner. Let them live.” I snort. If only it were that easy. “Find me one who can last past the third sunrise, and maybe I’ll consider it.” Her presence flickers in front of me, like a whisp of smoke. “You’ve gone soft. I can smell it on you.” “Must be your imagination. The only thing soft here is the ground after the corpses hit it.” She chuckles and fades, leaving the back of my skull blessedly empty. I straighten, scanning the new arrivals. A witch crying into her hands. Two wolves are already posturing for dominance. A human, brave or stupid, probably both, trying to look like she belongs. Typical.

Memories of a wolf

Memories of a wolf

But just before the dreaded impact, Alpha Knight swooped in to intervene. Something in my chest warmed at the sight of his majestic black wolf, larger than any of the wolves I saw here. I bit my lip when Alpha Knight continued to cover everything from the attackers' rampage to the defense of his people. The onslaught continued relentlessly. On top of that, the vicinity is barely illuminated now that chaos ensues. Rummaging against the crowd of wolves who were part of the Western Kingdom, a bunch of morbid corpses stared at me back. It took a lot of courage to bite down on my lip and prevent myself from puking. I still wasn't used to the horrors of battle.

Fated To the Alpha Mate ( Book 2 )

She glanced at me again. He wasn't dead, at least. Despite the fact that the matter has not ceased to be less bad. My throat dried up. In my old pack, some wolves a little older than me talked about it. When they changed for the first time or when they helped a wolf in heat for the first time.

The Wolf and Me

The Wolf and Me

- I don't know why I felt in my heart that my mother wanted to say more than she did. This wasn't the first time in my life, but since my father died this has gotten worse. - Mom? You didn't even seem too shocked by the location of the guy's house! - It's just that you finally have your breakfast Beck! We're leaving in thirty minutes to fix our hair for tonight. My mother didn't like to answer questions. I was used to it enough by then, so I didn't question anything anymore. I didn't question my father's obsession with wolf artifacts and legends, I didn't question why she wore a protective necklace against something that only existed in my books.

HIDDEN HOWL

HIDDEN HOWL

TRINITY The books Alpha Nader had given me were thicker than I expected, their cracked spines and yellowed pages holding the weight of centuries-old knowledge. Sitting cross-legged on my bed, I carefully turned the pages of the first book, The Myths of the Lunar Wolves, my fingers brushing over the faded ink. The white wolf. Its image was sketched across one of the pages—a regal creature with fur like snow and eyes that burned like molten amber. The description beneath it told of its rarity, its power, and its connection to the moon goddess herself.

The Rejected True Heiress

The Rejected True Heiress

“How exactly is this supposed to help me get my wolf?” Callum tapped a finger against the hard cover. “It’s got stories—legends, really—about people who lost their wolves and found a way to get them back, other of wolfless getting there wolf in the goddess’s favor. If I remember right, there are three different accounts. None of it’s guaranteed, but I figured you’ve already tried the usual routes. Journaling. Triggering traumatic memories. Those ridiculous fake rituals that don’t actually exist.” “They don’t exist?!” I hissed, my grip tightening on the book.

Great story and characters. Absolutely hooked! However do feel like the story is dragging on a bit and when you feel like its coming to a close something else happens and it starts all over again. Hoping its coming to a end soon and MC gets her happy ending.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm actually a little tired of the predator/prey thing in wolf fiction being all about literal hunting, you know? The most thrilling dynamics I've read lately are psychological. Sara Gruen's 'Water for Elephants' isn't about wolves, but that predatory showman August and the 'prey' he controls gave me chills. For wolves specifically, the werewolf politics in Patricia Briggs' 'Mercy Thompson' series nail this. Mercy as a coyote shifter navigating Alpha werewolf packs is a masterclass in social predator-prey tension; it's less about the chase and more about power, territory, and who can outmaneuver whom. The threat isn't always fangs, it's hierarchy.

That said, if you want pure, adrenaline-soaked chase sequences, 'The Wolf Border' by Sarah Hall has some stunning passages about rewilded wolves hunting deer in the English countryside. It's written with a raw, almost visceral clarity that makes you feel both the wolf's drive and the deer's terror. It's not a thriller in the genre sense, but those scenes are more gripping than most action novels.
