Her Graceful War Song

Her Graceful War Song

It was hard to tell if she was hopeful or frightened, but she was certainly no longer as calm as she had been earlier. Violet and the others were assigned to quarters beside Emerald Hall, which was Hayden's courtyard. It was a section of the estate filled with rose bushes, aptly named Rose Hall. A thin wall separated them, and those with sharper hearing could probably make out conversations from Emerald Hall, especially if someone were speaking loudly.

I love reading but choosy, and this book caught my attention as the author's thought was put into writing. It portrayed the life of normal and those in power clearly. It contains political, military, monarchial, business, education, martial arts, humanitarian, judicial aspects that I can relate to.

I like how this novel is now evolving into an interesting Sherlock Holmes case after the much-needed testimonies of Caden, Barett, Viola and Violet in particular... And I don't understand people's lack of patience, I really don't... for my part I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us

Finding Willow

Finding Willow

My alarm was going off so I rolled over and turned it off. I heard my mother hollering from down the stairs. "Willow get up. Your going to be late." I pulled the blanket over my head and yawned. I knew I should've went to bed earlier but I was just starting to get into a really good book and I just couldn't put it down. My name is Willow Addison. I am sixteen and starting my junior year in high school. I have always been a bookworm I guess you can say. Not that I didn't have friends but I have just always been into my studies. I kept impecable grades and stayed out of trouble.

In Bed With The MC President

In Bed With The MC President

Rose had her arm around her mother's shoulders, comforting her. My heart twisted in my chest. First Aaron, and now Fiona. The Wylder Estate wasn't just a fortress holding off the monsters from the outside world. It was a house completely haunted by untold stories. And as he led me deeper into the silent wing of the mansion, I realized I had absolutely no idea what kind of war I had just walked into.

The Dark Chalices

The Dark Chalices

It was a sign that we had to move to the field immediately. We quickly left the room to join the ranks. Chaz ordered us all to be quiet and check our weapons. As usual, I always brought my crossbow and rifle. After the assignment, my squad, squad four, had to explore an area called Windstone. The coldest and loneliest area in the west of York bordered by the Greenleaves forest, and if you walked further south, you would see the ruins of Willeth. There were no humans living in this area due to its poor condition, and even animals were rarely seen in this place.

Some Halloween standards were just a little inaccurate. Outside the house, the wind had picked up and fallen leaves scuttled across the cobblestone street as if racing toward some destination only known to them. Mrs. Belfry walked through the rickety old gate in her front yard and through the leaves, across town square, she took the steps up to the front doors of Lilith’s Hollow Town Hall, where Mr. Crawley awaited her arrival. “Mrs. Belfry, you look stunning,” the old werewolf stated.

The Alpha's Slave Mate

The Alpha's Slave Mate

“I’m serious Cole. If you get caught for trespassing, I’m not bailing you out.” “They’d have to catch me first,” I mumbled, not in the mood for my dad’s weekly lecture. My dad gave a short glare of warning in my direction but then wisely dropped the subject. Highfield Hall was an old manor style house that had been abandoned sometime in the early 80’s, and so was now in very poor repair. But it wasn’t the Hall that interested me. It was the grounds it came in. Highfield Hall had about 500 acres of land behind it which was mainly made up of natural British woodland so it appealed greatly to the ecologist in me.

Mr. Wilder wife is a madwoman

Mr. Wilder wife is a madwoman

Her breath hitched. “Second chance?” Rose whispered. Her tears returned, but not with sorrow this time, with fury. “You call this a second chance?” she hissed. “You take my child, let me die, and throw me back into this hell? What do you want from me?! What kind of sick joke is this!?” Her voice broke into a scream that seemed to shake the air. And then, something shifted. The air in the room thickened. Voices, distant, echoing, began to ripple through the mansion. Familiar ones. Laughter from below. The sound of footsteps, servants hurrying down the hall. The scent of fresh lilies, the kind she’d chosen for the wedding day.
