Wild ridge

Wild ridge

They will kill me! I clicked my tongue at his statement. "Oh, Dean, I guess they didn't tell you. You're dead either way. My name is Death, and your little gang has messed with the wrong MC club. The Wild Ridge is not to be fucked with." I stared into his face as a look of horror overtook him. If he wasn't completely scared before, he was downright terrified now. I smiled down at him. A few hours later, after lots of begging and pleading, I made my way back upstairs. As I reached the top, I came face to face with Lightning.

Caroline said, “Since you believe I can manage the company well, I’ll stay back and be in charge. You can have all the fun you want. I heard Wildridge Manor is a popular location in Wiltspoon. Unfortunately, it’s not open to outsiders. “I’m guessing they might open it up to the guests for a day or two in conjunction with Mr. York’s wedding.” Belinda smiled and said, “Visiting may be possible, but not an overnight stay. Wiltspoon Hotel is big enough to host all the guests who are traveling for the wedding. Only those close to the Yorks can stay in Wildridge Manor.

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

Almost a Fairytale

Almost a Fairytale

He answered coldly. Lady Elizabeth laughed, "True but not Winshord Castle. Walden family, for generations, have only one mandate. The firstborn will inherit the castle. As the lady of the castle, Agnes will surrender her rights after the wedding." She stood up, walked towards the window behind her, and reflected on the past.

Barbarian: Mated To The Savage Alpha

Barbarian: Mated To The Savage Alpha

The grand hall was filled to the brim with Wildings and werewolves, creatures from all over the realm. The roof of the hall was open, making the sky and the full moon visible. On one side of the room was a banquet table, filled with numerous food and wine meant for the guests. When Gwendolyn stepped into the hall, all eyes turned towards her. The chatter died down a little as whispers flew around. She ignored the stares and whispers and walked further into the hall. Kieran mentioned she would have to earn their respect, and she would. These people will not make her feel self-conscious.

Hayle Coven Novels

Hayle Coven Novels

As futile as we both knew it would be, Galleytrot and I spent the next several hours searching for the Gate. I let Shaylee have full control, prodding her out of her fearful hiding only with the help of my angry demon. But even she was honestly baffled, leading us in circles from one end of town to the other. I parked Minnie in the square and stared at town hall. "Let's think about this logically," I said, not feeling logical at all, just angry and frustrated. "The protection or supernatural feeling to Wilding Springs is roughly circular, right?"

“My apologies. I meant to have everything ready to welcome you when you came.” “That’s okay.” I jerk my thumb over my shoulder. “Is that a yard out there? In London?” “It’s your private terraced garden, Your Majesty. Beyond the fence, it’s St. James’s park.” “Oh.” I make an impressed face and pretend I know what that means. “And you are?” Owen asks her. She smiles. “Harriet Gauthier. I’m the housekeeper here at Wyrding House.” “Wyrding? Like magic?” That’s not exactly subtle.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

The date of the assessment was approaching, so all the candidates were making the most of their time by studying and revising. A few days passed, and Adrian and Raquel arrived at Wyvern Hall in the outlands. Wyvern Peak was built on Mount Wyvern in the outlands at the coordinates of 697 and named after the location. The area within a few hundred kilometers of Wyvern Peak was primeval rainforests, mountains, and hills. A snowy mountain west of Wyvern Peak was the border of Hangton.

WillowRidge

WillowRidge

The manor was white with big floor to ceiling glass windows, it looked celestial under the moonlight. I have been in WillowRidge for my whole life, but I never knew about this manor, no one could see this from the road, it is so well hidden. What a wonder. The assistant opened my door and took me to the side of the manor through a garden of colourful flowerbeds that looked so beautiful even at night. We crossed a beautiful wooden door to a private sitting area, a place so beautiful, elegant flowers, fairy lights, a cabin made of glass walls and ceilings, I am not joking. The assistant took me in and asked me to sit on one of the chairs, I hesitantly did. I was mesmerised by the beauty , Natu

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

Marwolaeth Hall was an imposing structure with its steep roofline, ominous gables that numbered three, and the seemingly daunting sharpness of even its rounded turret that capped the bay window on the eastern side. It wasn’t necessarily the largest dwelling one might chance to come across in the moorland near the village of Dunsford, England, but it was certainly commanding enough to make one stop and consider the nature of those who would make such a place their home. Even in the daylight it seemed to whisper of treachery and consternation, and it was no wonder the original owners had given it such a fortuitous name.

Waindale

"Trust me. You won't be missing Waindale High anytime soon. Sure, being secretary was fun, but here at least I can use a fork and not have it snap in my hand." "I'll catch you guys later. All this food is making me hungry, and I've been missing these pancakes," Imogen says before following the scent of maple syrup. Vivianne and I make our way to the gymnasium, but while in the middle of the hall, I come to a sudden stop. His scent, it's getting stronger. "He's close," I say. "He's getting closer." Vivianne links arms with me and turns us around. We hurry back down the hallway and through a pair of doors that lead outside. We walk down steps and follow a path toward the tennis courts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wylding Hall' by Elizabeth Hand is one of those books that feels so eerily real, you'd swear it must be rooted in some obscure historical incident. The way it blends folk horror with a documentary-style narrative makes the setting—a mysterious English manor—feel like a place that could actually exist. But nope! It’s pure fiction, though Hand’s genius lies in how she stitches together folklore tropes and psychedelic rock history to create something that feels authentic. The tragic fate of the fictional band Windhollow Faire echoes real-world stories like Fairport Convention or the darker legends surrounding bands that dabbled in the occult. It’s a love letter to the '70s folk revival, but with a supernatural twist that’s all her own.

What really gets me is how Hand uses fragmented interviews and conflicting accounts to build ambiguity. It’s like that feeling when you stumble upon an old Rolling Stone article about a band you’ve never heard of, and you start Googling, only to realize they don’t exist. That’s the magic of 'Wylding Hall'—it plays with the line between myth and reality so well, you almost want to believe it’s true.
