He stepped forward and stretched out his hand, "Now young man," his smile widened, "Give me back my key." Blade didn't answer immediately. His instincts screamed that something was wrong, this was all too convenient. But he didn’t have any proof, so, he tossed the iron key towards Rowan, who effortlessly swiped it out of the air, and without another word, he turned around and walked away.

Although he was yet to be acknowledged as a blade master, Boro was a few steps away from that title officially. There were a few ways to obtain the title of blade master. The most common way was to defeat a titled master in a duel, whether that be a duel to the death or not, beating someone who holds that title, usually witnessed by others to authenticate the claim, would allow one to become a blade master. Furthermore, being tutored by an acknowledged master, and in turn being acknowledged by that master, was another way for one to finally obtain that title.

Ding Hao swallowed hard; he moved away his eyes from the black spinels, and saw a long saber floating in the space. It was a quaint-looking long saber, a bit like the podao used by the army of the cold weapon era in his previous life. The saber had a broad spine and a long edge, molded in a soft streamline. Three blood grooves were carved along the blade, like sprawling dragons and phoenixes. The blade was slightly narrower towards the handle, and the hilt was extremely long, which was more than enough for both hands to grasp. The entire saber, with no complicated pattern or engraving, looked extremely simple.

Theo drag his body out of the stream to shore and laid back making the huffing sound.
