I am sitting in my office going over a contract on my hologram screen when I hear a knocking coming from the door, I quickly close the screen and check my surveillance to see who it is, Charles, my wonderful assistant. I press a button that's hidden underneath my desk and the door opens, in walks Charles with a grin on his face. "Morning Xander," he greets cheerfully. However that look on Xavier face shows that he is no longer going to be merciful. Rather all he sees is red. Without hesitating, Xavier sends another round to the other man. Killing him instantly.

Xavier snorted, quiet, but unmistakably amused despite himself. Lorenzo turned his head, and his eyes, usually sharp, calculating, cold, softened. Just slightly. “I didn’t expect to open my eyes again,” he murmured. “So I suppose I should thank the two of you. Even if it kills me to do so.” “You protected my wife,” Xavier said, stepping forward, voice firm. “You almost died doing it. That deserves more than thanks, it deserves respect. And as much as our rivalry goes way back, that was a line that you managed to break through.”
