Xen bent down to pick it up after helping her on her feet but his fingers froze as soon as he realised what was inside. " These are not biscuits... " He almost yelled, his voice resonating around the woods. Pieces of wood and saw dust , fell from his fingers as Mira also bent down to check what was going on. She sighed after watching. " What a psycho... she seemed sweet though... I think she has some mental issues... dementia perhaps... she must have forgotten what she was packing... " she pulled Xen up, who still seemed like he was in shock. Mira failed to understand what traumatized him so much. Was he allergic to wood?

Fenris growls, his eyes black and focused on Xanthos as he turns to growl right back. Still, Xanthos attacks first, I don't know why, he is anyway going to die. Fenris blocks the attack like a pro and claws off a chunk of Xanthos's vulnerable belly. Not giving any time for the rogue to recover, Fenris attacks the rogue but at the last moment Xanthos disappears. He reappears a few feet away from Fenris, panting and then turning his head to nod at the witch.

Theo rolled his eyes, lighting the joint he'd rolled, taking a deep inhale and handed it to me, smiling when I took it. He exhaled. "Foxen have a natural pheromone in their auras when partly shifted." He explained turning to Lisa while I took an inhale then held it up for Xavier. "Why?" She asked, raising a brow as she took the joint from Dane. I giggled, shrugging. "Who wants to fight me when I'm so cute?" I twitched my ears at her. She choked for a moment laughing. "You're an idiot." I stuck my tongue at her. "And you're my friend, like chooses like."

CHAPTER 2 XEN Xen was more of a lone hunter than his brothers Kane and who Kai who worked as a duo, the two couldn't separate on quest. They understood each other very very well than they did with Xen.Xen's eyes were now no longer blue, they were converting to dark black. He was hungry and tired of being in the forest hunting for a werewolf girl called Lisate. Xen had a picture of Lisate in her back pocket. He could take it out- sit down and study it for as long as he would wish. The picture of Lisate looked exactly like her centuries ago lover Merisa.He wished that this would better be true because sometimes pictures lie. He couldn't wait to meet Lisa and see if she really resembled Merisa.

When Fen grabs Gaia from behind me. “Mate, mine!” she hisses, her lips pulled up over her teeth. Her gaze is predatory. I sniff the air and my mouth waters at the intoxicating scent that is filling my senses. My cock begins to harden painfully in my sweats. Lykos is now on the surface, watching her when she opens her mouth and a tune enters my head. “We need to leave, now.” Fen says, and I look at him as he slowly backs away, keeping his eyes on Asteria. He reached into the document folder he'd had on the table since we sat down, pulled out three pages, and set them in front of Xavier. I leaned forward to read. It was a contact list. Wolves Seraphine's handlers had approached across multiple packs in the last year. Some marked as declined. Some marked as turned. It was the turned column I was looking at. Three names on the turned list had a notation beside them. Not a pack name. A location code that resolved, when I cross-referenced Fen's key at the bottom of the page, to Silvercrest territory.

Something bigger, more terrifying. Fenrir moves past us. Selene is nowhere to be seen. She opened the portal but said she will return with an army. “What was that?” Leo asks, and Fen turns to look at him. “Dragon.” I furrow my eyebrows and think why would a dragon be here with dark witches? “Dragus.” Fen doesn’t say anything. He turns and walks down the narrow path. No, it can’t be? If Dragus is here, then Xena must be. But Xena would have told us she was here and would have offered to help. This makes no sense.
