Ya Halloween Books Novels & Stories

Why was Mom so worn out? My answer would have to wait. The twins sat back as one, even steepled their thin fingers together under their sharp noses at the same time in the same precise way. My own twitched, close to a sneeze from the heavy scent of the air. The dark room was full of old furniture and dust, the curtains drawn against the setting sun. Everything about their house screamed scary old witches. Picture Halloween at their house, only they lived it 24/7. Even the odor of old food smells, eau de boiled onion and cabbage with too much garlic had a haunted feel.

With the bright light that strayed Into the darkened place Slowly, I stepped into space Of glorious gist It was a sight to see For roots came down From the height over my head The flowers too seemed To have capped the lines of the muddy horizon It was funny because the sky was brown and not blue Still a beautiful hue And I saw more people dressed in their best Walking out of their hide It was a delight To finally Not be alone in the case That offered no chase From a sibling And no embrace from the family That I missed, I set aside my sorrow And swayed with the music That tuned in the night of Halloween As the clock strikes Thirteen Everyone cheered in mirth They voiced together Loud synch of

"You're in luck. We have a section dedicated to folklore, myths, and legends. Follow me." She led them to a corner of the library, where bookshelves were adorned with titles that piqued their interest. Tiffany and Hailey eagerly began scanning the shelves, pulling out books and flipping through their pages in search of answers. Hours passed as they delved into the stories and accounts of supernatural beings, searching for any hints or connections to their own experiences. They came across tales of witches, vampires, and shape-shifters, but nothing that seemed directly related to their own situation. Just as their enthusiasm began to wane, Hailey stumbled upon an old leather-bound book tucked

I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it! The lock and the paper figure work together, and since you've touched the lock, the effect on you is stronger. Luckily, you found it early.” I broke out in a cold sweat. That same day, I slipped the paper figure under Miles’ pillow and instructed my parents to watch him while he slept.

Too fucking bizarre to even contemplate, to even have been real. Still, it was funny, how the thin giant’s head didn’t seem nearly as large and monstrous tonight as it had when they were younger. There were other Halloween decorations on display along Brazier Drive, amid these sleeping Houses of the Holy. Richard noticed some window-cling mummies, and a bedsheet ghost in the trees. An autumn-harvest scarecrow with a pair of dullish orange pumpkins (whose fleshy insides must be turning to stringy, seeded mush with the warm September days) sat on the porch stoop next door.

His mother half yelled. Xan hunny.. food is ready. Lexa yelled. Okay Mom.. I'll be down there very soon. Roxanne half yelled too. God! This horror book wasn't horrific at all. It was enticing..she wanted nothing except the book. She was already in the Fourth chapter, the chapter was all about humans transforming into wolves during every full moon. There was a small note saying; _I *wrote this book_ _because I want_ _every other teenager_ _out there, who has been_ _given the gift to transform_ _every full moon to be Happy_ _about their gift._

the Architect said, smiling cruelly, “I’m not the only one hunting you. The Board kept a hundred books on their computer. Scary stories, war stories, stories of monsters that eat stars. Now, the walls between the books are gone.” As he spoke, the alley began mixing with other worlds. Off in the distance, Maya saw a metal dragon from a space story flying above a candy forest. Ghosts from an ancient horror tale wandered through a futuristic city of glass. Everything was colliding. The long path had turned into a nightmare. “We need to go,” Julian said, grabbing Maya’s hand. “The Ghostwriter said the secret is in the title of Chapter 100. We have to reach the end before this world becomes a sto

Elias grabbed my hand tight. “This way,” he whispered urgently. “Don’t make a sound.” My heart raced as he pulled me deeper into the dark stacks. We moved fast but careful, stepping around carts and avoiding loose books on the floor. The flashlight beams from the power crew swept across the far end of the basement. Voices echoed. “Anyone down here? Maintenance check!” Elias led me behind a tall row of old reference books, the kind nobody touched anymore. We squeezed into a narrow gap between two heavy shelves. My back pressed against one. His body shielded me from the front. We were so close I could feel his chest rising and falling fast.

The mob was fast closing in. He suddenly grabbed her hand and turned the corner, taking them down a side street. It ended in a wall. “It’s a dead-end!” she yelled. But he kept running, dragging her with him. He reached the end of the alley, dropped to a knee, and with a single finger reached in and yanked up a huge, iron manhole. She turned, and saw the huge group of vampires heading right towards them, not more than 20 feet away “Go!” he yelled, and before she could react, he grabbed her and shoved her into the hole.
