I stand over him, breathing hard, as four Yakuza soldiers come rushing over from the bar with guns leveled. I stare at them and show my teeth. Their leader, a man named Bob Tanaka, shakes his head. "You're a fucking mess, Khazan." "If you had left a gun like I wanted, this would've been cleaner." "Guns are loud. Look at my carpet! What a goddamn mess." "I need to wash my hands." "Yeah, yeah." Bob waves me away. "Go take care of yourself. Ah, what a fucking wreck." He barks orders in Japanese to his soldiers as I return to the back room.

She lay and held her teddy bear closely. "Who is that man?" She mumbled. Brown scratched his hair. "He is a Mafia." "Mafia?" "Yeah. His name is Leonardo Cappuccino." "Wow. I have never seen one before. I only read about them in stories, are they exactly the way stories portray them to be?" Brown stared at her, "You mean like the way a bad boy that belongs to the Mafia falls in love with an innocent girl and then destroys the whole world for her sake?" He smirked and Ashley laughed.

His polished shoes barely made a sound against the tiled floor. He greeted Giuseppe warmly in rapid Italian, their exchange too fast for me to catch every word, but I noticed Giuseppe’s eyes flick nervously in my direction more than once.

Momentarily ignoring Gerald, he then bowed while placing his fist against his palm before declaring, “Good day, senior. John is a stout, tall, and muscular man. He evened out the invisible creases on his expensive suit. He chuckled with amusement at the empty threat delivered by Antonio.
