"Might be my key. Sorry, I guess you were concentrating too hard on cooking."
"It's so hot in here. Should I fan you?"
He sounded calm, but I could see his neck flushing crimson, and I pouted. "Oh, you're so kind, Mr. Lopez. But it's alright—I'll be done soon."
Over ten minutes later, a full course meal was waiting on the table, and Zac started wolfing it down.
Soon, he was sweating all over from the stimulating diet, his eyes unfocused.
I stood up and brought out a bottle of beer. "Would you like some? It's a special brew made by my brother-in-law. It's really good for your body."
