Bound by paper
It was certainly not going to hang in a gallery anytime soon, but the intent was clear.
“That is you,” she said, pointing at the figure with the exaggerated, long legs.
“Good to know.”
“That is me.” She pointed at the smallest figure, and even before she spoke, I already knew who the third one was.
“Also good.”
Then her small finger landed on the third figure. “And that is Jade.”
Of course it was. I studied the drawing again, looking at the way the three figures were linked together by their hands.
“You gave me very long legs, little bird.”
