I was relying on my heightened senses, unsure if my eyes were glowing in response to whatever was in that waffle.
"Stay out of this," I warned Jason, frustration coloring my words. My mind was racing, and I didn't know if the threat came from the dusted waffles or even before that remembering I was already lightheaded when I came in contact with the bathroom door.
