You Have My Sword Novels & Stories

"So it’s the same." Just the same thing Sturbridge told me. I looked at the soldier's sword, then down to my own empty hands. "Give me your sword." The soldier blinked in shock. "My sword? My lady, what are you planning to do?" Without wasting time, I held his hand down and grabbed the sword at his waist to pull it off. The weight I felt was a little unfamiliar but it was enough. I raised the sword and its edges caught the firelight. My lips curled into a small and dangerous smile. "I want to see if I can kill them."

“A package was delivered. It was addressed to you. It’s from your father and you should open it. Mira, would you mind getting it for Tara?” She turned without a word and walked into the hotel. My heart raced. “The sword is now yours,” Kenner said next. I shook my head. “No, it is yours. You were my father’s friend and he wanted you to have it. The one he commissioned is in my room. It’s an extension of my hand.” “I will save his sword for you. You may have need of it one day.” He was stubborn and I wouldn’t win this argument. “Thank you.”

Did he not know that this fight was about the girl? I let out a rabid roar as I walked toward him, sliding the sword out of its scabbard. I swung it at him quickly, backing him up against the wall. When his back hit it, I thrust the tip of the blade into the wall before moving the hilt to the left to press the sword against his throat. I bared my teeth at him as I glared at it. “YOU CANNOT HAVE THE GIRL!” I yelled. “SHE IS MINE! MINE! NOT YOURS!”

I stared down at her, my voice was steady when I spoke, though my pulse was fire. "You wanted my attention, Scarlett. Now you have it." I threw her sword, "first to draw blood."

"I'm Golden, nice to meet you. The sword is also my main weapon. I hope we can have a good battle." Then both drew their wooden swords and started their battle.

Aitch urges. “No!” I state dropping the sword by my side in dismay, I can’t, I just can’t. Aitch walks up to me picking the sword from the floor pointing it in-between my eyes as I accept my faith this will be my end.

"Good, good. Glad you did." "This is my sword, not the one in your possession." The elf actually sounded bored. "That one, I am afraid, is yours." "Mine?" The elf narrowed his eyes at Rhychard. "Do you have a hearing defect?" "No. Why?" "Then you heard me say that the sword is yours. Why repeat it?" "I meant, why is it mine? You must be confused. The sword belongs to an elf."

I dragged her out as I carried my sword that had a bane in it. "Arghhhhhh!!!" A loud scream came with a heavy thud...

"Wendy, give him the sword." I wait for it with a small smile. After a while, Wendy approaches with it. She hands it to me, and I grab the handle, rising to my feet. When I unsheathe it, moonlight bursting inside the room from a crack in the roof bounces off the sword. It gleams as I weild the light, but powerful tool in my hand. "Keep your word, Zeke." "I'll do that until I see reason not to." I sheathe the sword and take my leave. She doesn't walk me out, but I don't need her help finding my way.
