My car was a mess, he had transported dirty car parts for his step brother, with my vehicle, my gas and my time. Knowing very well that I could not afford to run the house with one third of my salary with two babies, he chose to lie that money was coming. After two months of lies , he finally came clean. That was a lie. At this point I really did not know who lied. Did he know that he was just helping for free and lied to me, or was he being lied to? I guess I will never know, because Jacob was a liar.

It was long enough that she probably thought I was not going to answer. “I was lied to for five years,” I said. “I lost my career, my relationship, and my family. My dad died because of me.”
