The Man I Was Meant to Hate

The Man I Was Meant to Hate

“Did you kill my brother?” He still goes. For a long second, he just stares at me. His eyes look tired. Lost. Angry. Wounded. Then he smiles. Slow. Cold. “Yes.” The word slices through me. But his eyes, his eyes say something different. Something twisted. Something broken. Something that doesn’t match the word he just used like a knife. “Why—why are you saying that?” I ask, breath shaking. Because it’s what you came here for, isn’t it? he whispers. “Someone to blame.”

Rejected and Claimed

Rejected and Claimed

My body shivers at how mean the words coming out of his mouth sound. "I've always known you'll be evil. It was just disappointing when the others think we should give you some grace. That thing on your body..." He points his index finger irritably at me. "That mark there... is a confirmation of the doom you carry around you. You were born of evil." He leans forward, his mean gaze raking all over my body. "I don't understand," I whisper. "Your curse attracts evil creatures to your doorstep. Creatures who want nothing but your lust over your body."

For me it's a good book and I like it. The author is not going back and forth and repeating conversations again and again. I just hope she doesn't stretch the story for long. Even though I will still read it haha (I did not finish my last comment because I exceeded the limit)

I’m really enjoying it so far. I like the concept and the drama with her mates all wanting a piece of her. Fl and her wolf have a pretty unique relationship which is cool. Her reasoning for wanting to escape at first feels a little weak/forced. But besides that it’s a unique and engaging read.

He declared dominantly. His very aura glistening with the malice he provided himself with. Her eyes widened in pure appall, incredulity evoked to perceive his malevolent intentions. “What..?” She whispered, frightened in anticipation when a gloomy smirk reached his thick lips. Pressing her against the wall, affixing their gaze while proclaiming his objection temptingly, “I am going to bring evil reign in this world.”

The Alpha's Witch

The Alpha's Witch

“Who told you that? Haughter, right? Like I said, she doesn't know much, in fact, no one alive beside Aunt Joanna and me knows shit.” My Mum went on to tell me what that meant. The words were of ancient tongues that the witches of old spoke, and it meant ‘the force of magic is never for bad’. What that meant was magic was never meant to be used for evil, it was a positive force meant to be for the good of all.

What Hell May Come

What Hell May Come

*** The Male Demon thundered: The invention of the left-hand-path as the direction where “evil” treads is based purely on the idea that polar opposites in moral deliberations exist as a force outside of the human mind. Whereas in reality, the “good” and the “evil” are cultural constructs designed to corral the local populace into accepted mental boxes, so the ruling elite may then dispose of them as per their fiat. Such ideas exist solely to fellate the individual’s ego. When one applies the adjective “good” to oneself, then those who have a viewpoint not in alignment, must out of necessity, be “evil.” Yet if each person views themselves as the “good” or the “hero”, then what actually consti

The loud unknown voice yelled impatiently. Vicoliz slowly walked towards the Spear and was about to place his hands on it but halted. "What am I doing? Vicoliz you are not evil. I am not evil. I can never be evil all in the name of power. This is greed" He yelled. Suddenly a copy of himself dressed in black appeared at his left hand side and spoke "Take it Vicoliz. If you want to be Action god, accept to be evil, grab this once in a lifetime opportunity and grab this spear. Being evil is what is best"

Ivar said. "Look at their intent. Is it evil?" "But what is evil father? Why do we have to live in hiding like this? Those Seekers who came here, I want to know what they want." "Ivar, the emperor himself fears that our existence could hinder his plans in the future. He wants total control over his dominion and he sees us as a threat to his position as the all powerful ruler. You ask what is evil. Evil is a selfish thought that manifests through action— an intention that aims to benefit only oneself while causing harm to others.

The Rejected Luna Twin

The Rejected Luna Twin

“Mabel, I thought we were over this. We already agreed that this topic of bad luck wasn't going to be brought up ever again, right? What then is the meaning of this charade?” “Even I have been caught unawares. I also wasn't even going to talk about that anymore, but judging from what I saw just now, I would be the worst godmother to ignore it, even the goddess would not spare me if I did.” “What did you see?” “Evil. I saw evil, it was as clear as day.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Exploring the concept of evil in media is like diving into a dark, twisted labyrinth where every turn reveals something new and unsettling. In anime, 'Berserk' stands as a towering example with Griffith’s betrayal—an act so calculated and cruel it reshapes the entire story. The way his ambition consumes him, turning him into Femto, is chilling.

Then there’s 'Death Note,' where Light Yagami’s descent into megalomania blurs the line between justice and tyranny. His god complex and the cold logic behind his killings make him a fascinating yet terrifying antagonist.

Games like 'Silent Hill 2' delve into psychological horror, where James Sunderland’s guilt manifests as grotesque monsters. The town itself feels alive with malice, reflecting the darkest corners of the human psyche. These works don’t just show evil; they dissect it, forcing us to confront the shadows within ourselves.
