he said addressing the class of 25 students and they replied. "Today we have a new student joining us" he went outside and signaled Chloe to come inside and that she did. "Introduced your self to the class" Chloe nodded at the teacher as she proceeded with her introduction. "Good morning everyone, I'm Chloe and I'm your new classmate" Chloe wasn't very good with standing in public, she hated the spotlight, she hated much attention, she was anti social and she liked it, at least that is what she shows the world,the cruel and cold side of herself.

I hope so. But would my new deskmate really get along with me? My new deskmate, Jean Claremont, turned out to be a lively and cheerful person. It only took us two class periods to go from being strangers to casually passing notes and chatting. We quickly hit it off with each other. But after lunch, she suddenly became quiet. When Nadia called on her to answer a question during class, Jean acted differently from her usually enthusiastic character. She hesitated for two seconds before standing up and saying she had been distracted and didn't know the answer.

He said, smiling at me. "Yeah, but he's in class now, so I don't think you can meet him now," I said, but just then the bell rang, indicating the class was over. The students started coming out of the class, and I spotted Aaron in the hallway. I waved at him, and as he noticed me, he began walking towards me. "Hey, how was the principal meeting? I hope it wasn't bad," Aaron said. "No, it was good. By the way, that's Kelvin, he's a new student," I said, and Aaron turned his attention to Kelvin. I walked closer to them and said, "Aaron, this is Kelvin, the new guy in school, and Kelvin, this is Aaron."

I nodded. “You’re new,” he said matter of factly. “Do you have notes?” He asked and I shook my head. “Is there anyone in this class you’re close with?” I shook my head again. The way classes here were assigned, I could possibly have only one class with someone in a week and never see them again. Not only would I have no time to befriend anyone here, but I didn’t know their schedule and they wouldn’t trust me enough to leave me their notes.

I eat quickly and head to school with my friends. When I get to my classroom, I see that most of my classmates are already there. I take my seat and start getting my books ready for the first period. A few minutes later, our homeroom teacher walks into the classroom, but she’s not alone. Behind her are two students I’ve never seen before, a boy and a girl who look like they’re around our age. “Good morning, class,” our teacher says, getting everyone’s attention. “I have some exciting news. We have two new students joining us today.”

I say trying to be nice. "That's a really pretty name. I'm envious." She says, she seemed to be filled with energy. "Your name's pretty too," I say as I start moving, hoping to go to my next class. "What class do you have now?" She asks walking with me. "Chemistry." "Aw I don't have that same class. Well I'll see you later. I hope we can become good friends." She says hugging me slightly. "Same," I say to her then wave back as she goes the opposite direction. How do people hug people they barely know and just met that day? I know I can't, it seemed strange.

Unpacking my belongings, I began to envision my life in this new city, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and countless opportunities. The first few weeks at the university were a whirlwind of orientation events, meeting new people, and studying my class schedule. My fears started to fade as I connected with fellow students who shared my passions and aspirations. One day, after a particularly challenging registration, I found myself sitting in the university's courtyard, taking in the beauty of my surroundings.
