You Used To Hold Me Novels & Stories

“I am terrified of losing you.” “And I am terrified of losing you to him.” Our foreheads touched again. His voice was raw. “Hold on to me.” “I am trying. Do not let go.”

“Don’t fight it alone. Hold on to me.” “But they’ll see,” she gasped. “Let them,” I said. “I’m not letting you break.” Our foreheads touched. The bond flared, bright and defiant. I poured everything into it. Every memory of her laugh as well.

I ran my fingers through her hair slowly and said in a barely audible voice, “Calm down, my girl… everything will be okay.” She clung to me tighter, breathing me in like she was memorizing me, afraid of losing me. I tightened my hold on her without realizing and whispered near her ear like a confession, “I won’t let them take you from me… even if I have to tear you out of this world myself.”

You are the gravity that holds me down. And also the drug that takes me high I get lost in your eyes, But I find my way back to you… always.

Those eyes that I loved, love and will love so much. "You left me" I say clinging to him "I was left. I should have died with you" I say looking into his eyes. "Listen to me well" he says taking my face in both hands "I will never leave you my little flea. I will always be with you if you have me in your heart. No matter where I am.

And as I held her One thing settled deep inside me. Cold. Unshakable. This wasn’t over. Not for her. Not yet.

Just when I started feeling like I couldn't take it anymore, he ripped his mouth away from me just as forcefully. Moving me away from the car, he opened the door and said, "Get used to being owned. Now get in!"

He held it without flinching. And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel like I was holding the world together. I felt… held.

“Me too.” Maddox held me as the last bit of fight left Maddox. “I was so fucking scared I lost you and I hadn’t even got to truly love you yet.” His hand pulled my head back so I was looking into his eyes. The pain that still held there was heartbreaking.

The one that promised me everything. With trembling fingers, I reached for it. Pulled it off. Held it in my palm. “I’ll find my way back to you,” I whispered, as the first tear slipped free. “I don’t know how... but I will.”
