Not forgetting my backpack l take out a formal attire and l hurriedly change into it removing my boots wearing heels as l charge at my target. Entering the building brought some kind of uneasy feeling that everything might not go the way as l planned. I take a seat at the reception seeing some of the participants cry as they leave the room. I take out my resume as l look at my false details everything was made up thanks to Hozumi's help. She had been lending me some help for the past three months. "Next is Shizuku Kenba" "I am here" "Come this way."

A bounce house dominated the backyard, and somewhere in the kitchen, someone was playing a playlist that sounded more like a club than a six-year-old's birthday. Abby was at the center of it all, arranging a cake with candles flickering dangerously close to her hair. She wore a simple dress, dark hair pulled into a messy ponytail, and she looked exactly like she did at seventeen—effortlessly pretty, like she'd just rolled out of bed. I felt Jamie tense beside me. "Simon!" Abby spotted us, setting the cake down before weaving through the crowd. "You came. And you brought Jamie." "Wouldn't miss it." I slid my hand to the small of Jamie's back, feeling the slight tremor in her fingers.

“Someone who can see the amazing person who you truly are. I know we just met, but trust me, your true self shines through. Right now, everything seems to be falling apart, but you have to have faith that the Goddess has a plan for everything.” “Thank you.” I say, sniffling. It’s getting harder for me to be able to keep all my emotions in check.

Damon said. "I don’t know why you are telling me all these Damon," Abby said in all honesty. “You see, when Liam finally opened up to me about all he did to you and how he felt about you, I advised him to go face his fears and do things right. Trust me, Abigail, he was really excited to come back home and apologize to you, only to find out you had resigned. We both went to the address you put as your home address when you started working for the Williams only to find out it was a fake address. Abigail, My best friend was depressed. He drowned himself in alcohol for months until Lucy came into his life and helped him to move on”. Damon explained.

"She thinks now that I'm in Uni it's cool of her to take ownership of all my stuff back home, like hello I'm three thousand miles away not dead!" I laughed at her joke and automatically decided I like her, "I'm Abigail, Abigail Howard." "Carlacia Anderson" She introduced herself as she took my outstretched hands, "So big apple huh? Man, I'm so excited!" "Me too! I've waited my whole life for this" I sighed looking around the apartment. Carlacia turned to look at me with a smile, "Well, same here." I smiled at Carlacia who grinned at me then she suddenly cocked her head at me.

I whispered back, “I really don’t! Thank you so much for everything, everything! For her too, for been with her and those words you said… thank you so much, my love” “You’re welcome,’ she whispered with a smile, “And it wasn’t so difficult too. Aby is… she’s a baby. A really sweet baby, and I just happen to already have 3 babies. What’s the harm if one more sweet one is added? The more the merrier! And! I can’t even wait to see Miley’s face when I tell her that Aby spoke today! Or that she stood up! Haha! I can’t wait”

she looks at her Aunt Cynthia, "Tristen will he be able to make it?" She smiles, "he better, he's missed everything this year, but your union he will be a dead man if he misses this." I've heard of Tristen, he's Cynthia and Chris' 2nd son, he's in his last year of Medical School and from what I've been told he's at the top of his class. Abigail say's he's really quiet, nothing like the rest of her family. Abigail's face beams a big smile, "great, as for food,” she looks at her Momma, “I think we will have that covered, my Alpha loves eating Italian,” she smiles at me and her cheeks are bright red.

The small movement to my cheek causes me to flinch. Abby is by my side instantly checking my face out and going back to her bag to pull out a cold compress and some arnica cream. She starts rubbing the cream on my cheek softly and when her eyes meet mine I see a glimpse of compassion. She seems to be a very soft-hearted girl. She also seems to be a bit on the young side. She has long blonde curly hair and bright blue eyes. Her frame seems thin but in a way to where she just still hasn't grown all the way into her body. She is wearing stripped pajamas and a white spaghetti strap. I almost want to call her cute. "I'm Candice." I say to her, trying to ease out of the awkwardness.

I spin myself around in a spinning chair after pretending to hear Ryland's long and annoying lecture. "It's not what you think Ry," I defend myself as I stop the chair from spinning in circles. "Yeah? Then please explain to us what this really is." Ryland and Chris sat patiently for my answer. Yes, that's right, Ryland called Chris to come over so they could judge me together. Now that I think of it, I don't know what this is. I just know that I trust the Josefina fan more than I trust any of her other personalities. "I don't know," I manage to say out loud.

"This is my mom. Mom, this is Abby, my business rival turned... friend." Abby shook the hand of the woman who squinted at her. Abby was lucky she hadn't forgotten her softlens. Thanks to the hair dye that hid the original appearance, that would have been easy for anyone to recognize because she resembled her father. "Have we met before? You look familiar." Abby laughed lightly. "Maybe you know someone who looks like me." "Or you've seen her in a business magazine. She's the lioness, Mom," Zac explained.
