Maya stood tall, her claws twitch, with blood still dripping from the gnash of her teeth. “Ashira, let's not fight, I don't want to fight you, but if you leave me no choice, I will." She said softly. I watched Ashira's hand tremble around the hilt of the blade. “We are not here to fight you, we are not enemies to you." I stepped forward, shielding Maya slightly. Just then, Ashira's lip parted and I was sure of what I saw. Flame of water, her eyes flickered with rage of confusion.
