Yule Ball Harry Potter Novels & Stories

Dwyne has a part in this ticket too. “That Harry Potter Book Collections, and that heart-shaped necklace, miss” Dwyne said to the counter lady. I was surprised when he picked what I want—the Harry Potter Book Collections. I can't help but looked at him with confusion. The woman gave what Dwyne said. “Thank you for coming, sir, ma'am” the girl said. Dwyne nod and smiled, but being a bitch me, I just rolled my eyes at her. “Oh, this is for you” Harvey said and handed me the necklace and the Harry Potter Book Collection.

They wear masks and cloak their scents. Today the last tasks will be held, and the ones with the highest scores will be proposed as future regents tonight during the Yule Ball. Jordan and Ruth are going to the ball, but I decided to spend my last night in Avalon by going with Sky and Kevin to an ice shop we discovered on our first day here.

Holding in his laughter he made a circular motion with his index finger. I gasped as I watched a thin and transparent glittering blue barrier rise up from around us, meeting in ends to form a shining globe around us. It bulged outwards as my fingers neared it to touch. Wizardry? "Don't tell me! You were the 15th century Harry Potter?" I squealed. He raised an eyebrow. "I don't know any Harry." It wouldn't be wise to say those words out loud back on earth. "Then how do you do this?" I asked with rising curiosity.

Lucius shakes his head. Bastian chuckles. “I think we can agree to that.” Lucius grunts. Jayson leans forward. “What about the moon? Now that you're with us, we need to bring you into the rotation for the ball.” “Ball?” Lucius raised a brow. I shake my head. “I don’t think we want to participate in that.” Lucius turns to me. “What ball?” I look around the table then meet his eyes. “The Blue Moon Ball is an event. Like a party for all the packs to get together and find fated mates.”

Madelyn looks at me and I smile at her, making her blush. “So, what movie are we watching?” I ask taking the focus off of her. “Well, I think my mate needs to learn what it means to be a Gryffindor, don’t you?” Maeve asks. “Harry Potter it is! I’ll make the popcorn,” I say, showing Madelyn where to sit and grabbing a blanket off a chair to give to her. I don’t know if she’s still cold, but in case she is, I want to make sure she’s warm.

"He asked me personally." Heat crawled up my neck before I could stop it. "Why would he send you to take care of me?" "Because there's a ball," she said, ignoring the question entirely, "and Lucien and I have been put in charge of it. The Fall Ball.... happens every year, whole kingdom turns out. And apparently I've been "given the honor" of turning you into someone who won't trip over her own dress." "A ball." The word sat strange in my mouth. "I've never been to one."

His voice dipped lower, dangerously teasing, “…you get kissed under the first snowfall of the year. That’s said to bind two souls for eternity.” I blinked. “So if you’re not lucky…?” “You get frostbite.” “Charming,” I muttered, stealing another peek out the window. Children ran past with ice-skates in hand, headed toward a floating rink near the town square. Above us, faerie lights were beginning to drift from tower balconies, casting colored shadows on the cobbled streets. Alaric reached for my hand. “We’ll attend the Frost Ball. The Queen insists.” “And by insists, you mean she wants to dress me like a Christmas gift and parade me around?”

He just smirked at her, then turned and winked at me before vanishing again with a flicker of green light. I blinked at the empty space he’d left behind. Feena shook her head with a sigh. “We’re hosting a little ball,” she said, the excitement back in her tone. “Haven’t done that in ages. Baelorin normally hates events like that—he frowns just hearing the word ‘ball.’ But this time he agreed.” I blinked. “A ball? Like… dancing and gowns and music?” “Exactly that,” she said, practically beaming. “He says it’s to welcome me back home.”

Even when I think we are close, at moments like this when she feels like a fairy godmother to me, she is still the House Head. She handed me the map of the whole school and circled where the Ball was taking place. “Thank you,” I muttered. Mistress Lune only gave a slight nod and walked me to the gates in silence. It was clear she meant to make sure I left for the Eclipse Ball… But I had other plans. Nexus of Power. That’s where I was going. As I passed the other Houses, I read their golden nameplates—House Noctis, House Ignis, House Vellum, and House Vitae.

He looks me in the eyes with a look that says 'I love you' but we can't call it love yet. I dreamily sigh at my mental movie. That's all I want. Love. It is a beautiful thing. I see the Central Hall! Girls start screaming and yelling with joy as we reach the entrance. "Girls, when you get into the ball please sit where your name is and don't move until instructed to do so. And lastly, have a wonderful night."
