Yule Ball Harry Potter Novels & Stories

He had said he would return for her answer. And Damien Drakaris was not someone who forgot promises. Maybe he would come to her instead. That thought followed her back to her lodge, settling uneasily in her chest. ⸻ The next day arrived wrapped in excitement. The Moonlight Ball. Students rushed through the halls carrying gowns, enchanted masks, glowing ribbons, and floating decorations that drifted like tiny stars overhead. Magic hummed through the academy as preparations reached their peak. Tonight, when the moon rose fully, the ball would begin.

“Fool them, give them a fake celebration, that way we will know if they want peace or they go for the attack, and the treaty is just a smoke curtain." My mate is not only beautiful, but also very smart. “Good call, Angie,” Mat said, and I took a deep breath. “There is this Winter Ball… They do a couple of them over the year. The Moon Ball is where they find their partners, but not everyone is in attendance. Only the newly shifted supernatural and some members of the hierarchy.” I started spewing convincing bullshit. If you want to send a lie across and make it believable, you must mix it with some truth.

Bang! "Ava, open this door!" The sharp click of my stepmother’s heels against the floorboards made my stomach twist. Before I could even move, Lydia pushed the door open. She stood there holding a dress that looked both expensive and suffocating. "Look at you," she hissed. Her cold eyes swept over my tear-stained face with absolute disgust. "Crying over a boy who had the guts to throw you away. Get up. Wash your face. You’re going to the Lycan King's Ball."

“You’re back. Did you kill the thing?” “Yes,” I said, then cut straight to, “Where’s Lyra?” “Oh, her? She and Myra went into town for a shopping spree.” A muscle ticked in my jaw. “Shopping spree.” “And I was just about to follow them into town myself,” she added breezily. “A little sightseeing before the ball later.” I stopped walking. “What ball?” She arched one perfectly shaped brow. “The Winter Solstice ball? Big end-of-Solstice celebration. Myra said it’s open to the whole town. Dancing, music, and probably enchanted wine.

It's fitted from the knee above, then it's a bit free downward due to the slit at the front. I paired the look with four-inch black heels and light makeup, wearing my hair up in a messy bun. Harry is wearing a dark blue suit to match me, and the rest is history. I put my hand in as we walked down the hallway until we got to the ballroom. The guards around the door opened it up while acknowledging Harry and me appropriately. As Harry and I step into the hall, the music stops for a brief period of time, from when we enter until when we settle down on the thrones at the end of the ballroom.

INT. LUXURIOUS BALLROOM - NIGHT The opulent ballroom was a sight to behold, adorned with shimmering crystal chandeliers that cast a warm, enchanting glow over the elegantly dressed werewolves in their human forms. The grand party was a spectacular affair, with champagne glasses clinking and laughter echoing through the air. The anticipation was palpable as guests revealed in the opulence of the setting. In the midst of the gathering, a commanding figure stood at the centre of attention. Alpha Stephen, the embodiment of strength and power, held a device in his hand. His voice resonated with authority as he began to address the crowd.

‘They must be Harry Potter fans. He didn’t think that any of the songs in the soundtrack could be used in this way. Now, as he watched the two, he felt as if he was being transported into the magical world. He had watched the previous movies and in one of them there was a scene where the students of Hogwarts had a Yule ball. ‘Ah. This is that feeling.’ He was starry-eyed as he watched the two dancing like magical beings. Towards the end of it, he rose from his seat and applauded them. “Very good!! Amazing! Yes! That’s perfect!!!”

"Of course i am, after drinking the potion from Azura my fever is cured" Azura sat up "We're going to a ball" the witch girl smirked. "It's been a long time since I came to such an gathering. I cannot wait" "You can't wait to find another boyfriend huh?" Lily sneered. Azura simply ignored her. But she didn't deny either "Ball? A gathering?" I have never attended such a event. I've only been to proms and my friends' birthday parties. And I don't like the crowd. I'm guessing the Lusevell party is something that involves boisterous crowd from sundown to sun-up.

The buzz of excitement was a physical thing that anyone could taste when they entered the Black River Packhouse. People twenty-first, the first day of Yule. People were arriving any minute, and decorating had started. Finishing touches were being put on last-minute foods for the feast. Others were hauling in decorations from deliveries or from the land itself. A tree sat in the Ballroom with boxes of decorations from years past nearby. A table sat beside it with new ornaments the pups of the pack had made earlier in the month. Once the tree’s decorated, beneath the tree would go the Yule presents for tonight.

"Marks you? What does that mean?" They shared a look again. Harper looked at me. "So, it's true then? You were cloaked? You're a hybrid?" I nodded, unabashed. The way she'd asked wasn't particularly insulting, merely curious. "Yes, I am. So I'm fairly new to all this, which is why I'm gonna need a lot of help in preparing the Imperial Ball. I know it's a big deal so I want to give it my best." The girls grinned at me. "Fear not, Luna. We'll make sure that it's the best Imperial Ball ever," Amy assured me, bringing out a large album from behind her, one I hadn't noticed her carrying before.
