Yule Ball Harry Potter Novels & Stories

The grand hall of the Conclave glittered like a constellation of mortal and immortal power, chandeliers dripping crystal light over marble floors that gleamed under the polished soles of silk slippers. The scent of incense and perfumed air curled around the edges of the room, mingling with the faintly metallic tang of magic from witches, the subtle hum of vampire aura, and the barely contained ferocity of the wolf packs present. This was the Conclave’s yearly Silk Ball—a masquerade meant to unite the disparate supernatural factions, yet tonight it throbbed with tension, whispering rumors, and barely disguised threats.

"Ok, ok we're both grateful then " " Yh, Here I thought you were daydreaming about meeting your mate at the ball" "What ball?" " Don't tell me you weren't aware that our annual mating ball is coming up?" " Ohh, that ball. I didn't know it was close. It's not like I'm going to attend anyways" " Why? You have to attend it's every slave's fantasy"

"Get Isabella to the basement." I caught his wrist. "No." He looked at me. His gray-green eyes mirrored my resolve. "This time, I'm not hiding," I said firmly. The front doors blew inward. Smoke and the metallic scent of blood flooded the air. Lorenzo stood in the doorway, his black coat splattered red. He looked unhinged. The tenderness I once knew had vanished. Red veined his eyes. When he saw me behind Dante, he smiled. "Isabella, my good girl," he said softly. "The ballet isn't over. Why did you leave the stage?"

Jordan witnessed this scene and pressed his lips together to hold back a laugh. "I'll give you two some privacy." His voice shook with restrained laughter as he got up and hurried away. Totally ignoring him, Dylan lowered into the bench beside her. "Do you feel better? Any fever?" She shook her head. "I'm fine. The hot bath helped." He nodded. "Alright. So I wanted to tell you about the moon ball that is approaching." "You mentioned it to me before. What is it about?" "It's an annual ball that the werewolves celebrate in honour of the moon goddess."

* I ask back as I halt at the top to let some maids by. *The day of the ball is our birthday. We will be turning 15 that day!* *Wait! What?* as I stood there gripping the baluster I realized it was true. If the Ball is the celebration of the Princess and Prince on their birth. Then that means I was born that day. But if I remember correctly that is also the day of summer solstice, the longest day and shortest night. *That is correct child, now you better party to snub those idiots who snub me.* came the annoying voice of Nixie. With my dad’s help I learned to control her and keep her from overpowering me.

Marissa laughed, “Yes, those two do snore quite loud.” Jenna nodded, and Marissa went to the closet in the room. She opened the door and pulled out a simple red dress. “You can wear this today, and I will help you get ready tonight again. The ball is going to be quite the ordeal. Yale’s sister is returning home. It's her coming-of-age ball.” Jenna smiled, “What’s a coming-of-age ball?” she asked. Marissa smiled, “When a dragon turns 100, they can find their mate. So, it’s a ball to show off Princess Adleigh becoming of age.”

She was pretty sure from the way the two dragons were gripping onto each other that they weren’t going to want an audience for the next part of their reunion. She headed towards the kitchen to prepare another meal for Niarthen, and had just finished slicing vegetables into a bowl, when the outside sensor light activated, illuminating the front porch, and showing a figure that could only be Harry through the glass. They were carrying Jules in their arms like a groom carrying a bride across the threshold.

”What are you two plotting now? “Nothing,” Gordon chirped, gaze fixed on the glass he was currently wiping. ”Just really wondering why you aren’t at prom just like all the other teenagers your age.” “For the last time, it’s not prom. It’s a summer ball. S-u-m-m-e-r b-a-l-l.” I said, spelling the word out for him before I continued. “Besides, I hate the feeling of wearing a suit and all that comes with it.” “I don’t think that’s it.” Harry said, finally joining in the conversation. “You are just using that as an excuse, and we are not buying it.”

An electrical discharge escaped from Mila's fingers, formed into a small ball, resembling a crackling snowball, and headed straight for the assistant's chest. - What do you want to do? Pascal backed away, holding out his palms. - When did I manage to be guilty, mistress? — T-s-s! I need to check something. - Can anyone else do it? Look, Yosha is idle. - And you're right, you can hardly be called alive, you're still more of a spirit. Although the Marquis is a spirit…” the witch thought, holding the sparkling ball and not allowing it to move. - Yosha! Yosha! - The house elf reluctantly materialized at the threshold of the room, looking at what was happening with apprehension. - Stay close. The

As soon as the remaining few guests arrived Arya and Mr Reyes finally made their appearance in the hall. People were already talking in groups and the gentle sound of a harp made the beginning of the ball a real appetizer. Arya could feel all the gazes focusing on her and the house master as soon as they entered. They were wearing matching outfits and looked like true lords of their own empire. Mr Reyes approached the pyramid made of champagne glasses and with a strong voice made the introduction for the first toast.
