He asked. "Very special", Khione said, setting her cup down and leaning back, crossing her right leg over the left as she got ready to explain. "You may or may not be aware, but our family is divine in origin. Our maternal grandparents are the Goddess of Darkness, Nocturna and the God of War, Varkyn. On our paternal side, our grandparents are the moon Goddess, Selene and The God of the Hunt, Lykaion" Carter was slightly taken aback. Was he seriously sitting, drinking coffee with the granddaughter of some of the most well-known divine beings in the five realms?

NOLAN Damn! What was that? “Arius I said fricking stop you jerk!” We heard Niara’s scream from outside. Arius only gave her a burst of laughter. Minutes passed, Niara and Arius explained everything. Apparently, Niara’s mother was Anitun Tabu, the Goddess of the wind, while Arius’ father is Kidlat, the God of lightning. They’re so-called, demigod. A demigod is an offspring of a God and a mortal.

“What is your name?” “Helena. Are you a singer?” The woman laughed. “A singer? Well, if that is what you call a poor woman who sings eulogies to people for a few scraps of coins then yes I’m a singer.” She cocked her head to the side and said, “Helena. What a beautiful name, right brothers?” The men nodded. Inga chuckled and sidled closer to Helena. “Do you know that of all the gods the only one who no one has claimed to see is the supreme god Demeus? Many have seen Oya, Torlan and many others but none have claimed to see Demeus.”

"Zane. Do you know of Daekan?" I swallowed hard against the dry lump in my throat, my fingers nervously twisting the excess fabric of Ronan's massive shirt around my knuckles. The material was soft from years of wear, and focusing on that small detail helped ground me, gave me something tangible to hold onto when everything else felt like it was slipping away. "I... yes. I know he's the ancient entity. The god of the first pack."

Kian hugs his papa. "Okay, they're here let's start before it gets flooded here." Kaios said when the other deities arrived. Kian's parents stand with Kōri and Feu. Kaios, Selene and Leluna stand up to greet the newcomers. The other deities who arrived are Asili, the deity of the four elements. Water, fire, earth, and wind. Galax, the deity of the stars and time. Lastly, the Sun deity which is also the king of the deities and Leluna's brother, Ijus. Kian and Kaleb are overwhelmed with their presence.

“This goes several millennia ago when humans first came to be. Apart from animals and your flora and fauna, the earth was also inhibited by beings called the ‘Old Gods‘.“ “Old Gods?“ “Yes, the old Gods, or what mythology calls the Titans & Olympians. You have surely heard of them, Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, and the list goes on. These Old Gods were deities of unique elements that represent nature and life, like Poseidon was the God of Sea, Ares was the God of War, and of course, Zeus was the chief deity amongst them, the God of Sky and the atmosphere.“ My head is going to burst. I can’t believe we are talking about Gods & Goddesses. I want to believe Avo, but can this all be true? But one look at

Jessa smiled at them, but I instantly noted the stress lines and the way they clenched their hands. “What happened?” I asked, standing. Cassian moved to Jessa’s side and put an arm around her shoulders. “An Omega named Gilmore was found dead an hour ago. No sign of injury except for a symbol drawn into his forehead with blood. Quinn found the body. He says he’s done research, and it’s a symbol of the ancient goddess of Juno.” “Juno?” Jessa repeated, her eyes widening. Jarek took over. “She was apparently a goddess of mothers and maternity as well as a war goddess that brought death and destruction. The month of Jessa is named for her.”

It was Aphrodite's deity, a man who just loved the idea of being a subordinate to a powerful woman. "I don't think I need to tell you my name because you very well know who I am. We've known each other since we were both humans." Aubrey rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue, completely annoyed. Xun, Aphrodite's deity, chuckled out as he sat on the seat that Hades had been sitting on earlier.

Bella warns. “I need to know, Bella.” I say. I sip my coffee. “Very well. Damian your father is the Archangel Michael himself and your mother is the Queen of Hell Mephistopheles. But as you know, they were killed by other supernatural beings. Those beings were Gods of different pantheons around the world.” I raise my eyebrow in curiosity. “Raiden is the God of Thunder and also the king of the Japanese pantheon. He was the one that was ordered to kill your father. He lives in an ancient temple that is high above the clouds. He has four elemental masters serving under him. Shiva is the Goddess of Death in Hindu mythology. She’s from Tibet and resides in a place called Shambala. She has an army

The quaint houses, standing like obedient soldiers in formation, waited patiently for their owners to awaken and take on the day. And amidst this picturesque scene stood a grand home, its columns reaching up to the heavens like the fingers of the gods themselves. It exuded an aura of power and majesty, reminiscent of the palaces of ancient Olympus. Yet, despite its grandeur, the home possessed a certain charm and warmth that could only be felt, not seen. Every corner of the abode was imbued with purpose and artistic intent, paying homage to the great Hellenic culture that had birthed it.
