Zachery Brooks Novels & Stories

His heart was still beating, but I knew that things were not going to be going well if they reached this point. “We got a call from a man named Lorenzo.” He said, and I frowned in confusion. “I know that he is not one of your pack members. He claims to have seen the fire, and has heard gunshots. I don’t know how long this went on, but many have been badly injured.” “Casualties?” “More are coming in by the minute.” He said, and I shook my head before I rushed to Elijah. I put my hand on his neck, forcing him to look at me for a second as he noticed my presence.

Brothers. My mind begins to spin as small connections begin, and I realise what this means. Micah is related to Sinful. Asher is related to Micah. That means, Asher is related to Sinful. This means...all of a sudden I want to throw up, as dizziness hits me straight in the head. Reluctantly, Asher walks toward the nearby couch, winding his fingers around mine to take me with him. I'm hardly concentrating on what is going on as I sit beside him.

BROOKS I was half-bent over my bag, fingers frantically digging for my lip gloss, when I heard someone call my name. “Brooks.” I looked up, squinting against the morning sun, and there he was. Zade. Leaning against a sleek, black sports car like he was born to be in a moody indie film. Dressed in his signature all black, sunglasses perched on his face in a simple swag. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Who didn't know the mysterious new guy, Zach? Zachary Archer was a sensation at East Bridge High because of his cold, mysterious vibe—almost antisocial. But with that handsome face and tall frame, Zach was the exception. His aloofness had become a trend. "Is it really that hard to say sorry?" Sara muttered. "Maybe he's in a hurry." "This isn't a train station, Bern." I studied the tall guy with slightly long dark brown hair and piercing eyes. Zach had sharp features—a strong jawline, thin lips, and a perfectly sculpted nose. There were muscles under his shirt, visible on his arms.

I snarled, stepping further into his personal space, my knuckles turning white around the grip of my hockey stick. Zach took a slow step closer to me, leaning in until his breath brushed against my ear, his voice dropping into a dangerous, provoking murmur. "Didn't you remember I'm into hockey?" He pulled back, tilting his head with a mocking sense of pity as he stared me down. "It seems like you don't have a choice, Asher, because I'm a official new member now." Zach flicked his hostile gaze sideways to lock eyes with Caleb for a brief, tense second before snapping his dark eyes back to mine.

My heart beat loudly when I saw it was an unknown number calling. Was my sister in trouble again? “Hello?” I greeted. “Hazel Thompson?” “This is her.” “This is the Heart Care Psychiatric ward. I wanted to inform you that Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy have discontinued the payment for your brother, Drake Thompson’s treatment. If it is not paid by the time the week ends, we’ll have to discharge him.” I felt like crying. My grandparents were the ones who were supposed to cover the cost of my brother’s treatment—a brother nobody but my family knew existed.

What did she want from me? My dad's name is Chansey Slate, he is Beta to our Alpha, Brock Landon. My father is married to Rebecca Slate, and I have a brother named Tyler, who is my twin. We look like complete opposites. I have dark brown hair, his is raven black, which I envy, to be honest. He's darker-skinned toned than I am. He's extremely well built, meaning he's super muscular for his age, since he is always working out! And I mean working out all the damn time, just like his arrogant best friend, Blake.

"You feel uhm-" Tyler did. And like i said, he knew exactly what to say. "Zach. Your book-" Tyler's eyes suddenly widened by an idea. "Harry Jayson Moore. Moore, your book" He started as Zach turned to him. "You were right, i never understood it but then you left and i checked him out, on Google. At least I understand that-" He paused. "You did?" Zach asked. "Jayson Moore. The Rockstar stroke amazing gamer. Well the one that died a year ago, just to sure we're talking about the same person-" Tyler added and you could tell the unease drifted slowly from Zachary's void eyes.

Michael asked me still shocked. "I am your brother, I know everything about you, Lincoln," I replied and his anger was slowly replaced with anxiety. I couldn’t help but feel pity for my brother when I saw the pain in his eyes. This is why I don't want to answer his question as to why I hide the truth about our parent's death from him. During Lincoln's last year in the University, after he's done being the football team's waterboy and decided to go back to the locker room, he witnessed the captain of the football team sexually harassing the front girl of their cheerleading squad inside the private locker room for the football team. Lincoln interrupt them and save the girl but the captain wasn

Zach watched with cold eyes as another man in his fifties approached Alex and introduced himself to her, ignoring the fact that he is beside her. He casually turned towards a waiter and took two champagne flutes and handed one to her after she shook the man’s hand. “This is Zachary Montgomery, Mr. Brooks,” Alex introduced patiently. She smiled at Zach charmingly. “Babe, Mr. Brooks is into real estate and development. He’s currently developing a commercial complex due north.”
