Inside was a collar. Not the gold one from the auction. This one was silver. Sleek. Almost elegant. Not a cage. A symbol. His fingers hovered over it. He didn’t pick it up.

No, this was something entirely different— a primal, almost animalistic rivalry. Zane's jaw was clenched, his eyes narrowed and focused solely on Justin.
