So I got out of bed and went to the library and chose a random book and start turning the pages. I spent about 2 hours like this. Not long after the clock struck one, I heard the sound of footsteps from the garden. I almost stumble while running towards the entrance. Zayn was covered with blood and could barely stand straight. He looked pale and weak. As soon as I ran to him he shifted his weight on me. I almost caught him before he collapsed. I was about to scream for help but Zayn covered my mouth with his hand. He didn't want anybody else to see him like this. For a moment, I had no idea what to do. tears were rolling down. He was in so much pain. He moved his hand go my cheeks and murmur

I needed the distraction. “Found it!” Zain’s voice echoed in the small space and I thanked the goddess. Sometimes life just has a way of working things out for you. Zain turned towards me with a book that had to have the width the size of my head. I swallowed, hoping that it wasn’t some new diary. As though Zain could read my mind, he held the book up showing the front page. Once I read its title, I was able to release a breath I didn't know that I had been holding.

“Maybe it’s time I finally go back home and take over the family’s business,” He rose to his feet and headed toward his room without another word. "Should I book a flight?" Mike called after him. But Zayn gave no answer. He disappeared into his room, his figure heavy with exhaustion. Inside, he sat on his bed, staring at nothing for a long while. Finally, he murmured under his breath, so softly it was almost a prayer. "Hope you’re fine… wherever you are, Mandy." Then, for the first time since that disastrous get-together night, Zayn allowed himself to rest.

I mumbled, collapsing onto an armchair. “Spill it,” Hailey demanded, she leaned towards me, her eyes widening as she stared at me. “I know there’s tea to be spilled!” she added, the corners of her lips twisting into a mischievous grin. I knew there was no escaping her. Sitting up slowly, I began. “Zayn and I broke up yesterday, or rather I broke up with Zayn yesterday.” “You did? Hailey shrieked, her eyes widening in surprise.

Zayn had plain chocolate. “Would you like to tell me why?” Zayn gave me a small smile. “I really don’t want to lie to you anymore,” I confessed. “This Duazon thing is not about work. But it is personal and I am not ready to share it with you. When I am, I will.” I squeeze his hand gently.

Malik told him sincerely. “Ever thought of dropping all this and becoming an psychologist? You’d do really good there,” Zayed said. “I could take it as a side occupation,” Malik said and looked up, “ CEO by day and shrink by night. The perfect balance.” “But you’re not getting into my head though, not me,” Zayed protested, seeing the look on his brother’s face. “Why? You’ll make a perfect client. I could help you unburden whatever is in your head and just give you…peace,” Malik looked dreamy eyed.

Nana pouted, scrolling through the endless pictures of teen and adult Zayn modelling a lot of outfits. "I'm not a girl! Maaysa is rubbing off you, I'm handsome." He rolled his eyes, scooting closer to her so that he could explain each picture and how he got contract with big magazines and how he came across so many celebrities. ° "You should go and see Maaysa, g-man." Rukayyah said from beside him when they finished eating their early dinner. She's trying to adjust and make room for Maaysa since she'll be living here in a week.

"He’s a free spirit. Not under the public eye or tangled in the corporate world like I am. The media barely knows he exists, and he likes it that way." Katherine listened intently, noticing the subtle fondness in his voice. "Right now, he’s traveling the world, currently in India, living life on his own terms," Zayn continued. "Working on a novel, chasing his dreams. He’s already made a name for himself as an author." Katherine’s brows lifted. "That’s admirable," she murmured, swirling her own wine. "Not many people get to live their dream like that." Zayn exhaled, nodding slightly.
