Alpha Zac
Zac kissed the top of my head before answering, "No, we have held off on Ian and Tate's funerals, waiting until you could attend."
My vision was blurry from the tears I held back, the painful pricks of them wanting to escape; I nodded into his chest; I couldn't trust my voice not to crack.
Dropping all barriers, tears spilled down my face, so much pain, so much undeserved pain. "Let it out, sweet girl, let it all out," Zac murmured into my hair in between kisses while rocking me side to side. I mourned for Tate, his beautiful cut short. The life he didn't get to see through, the life he chose to give me instead.
