When you were seducing my man, why weren't you afraid? Jasmine, you're pretty bold," Zelda laughed arrogantly. She didn't see Jasmine as a threat; she just enjoyed the thrill of bullying someone else. "Remember six years ago? Oh, I forgot. When you were cornered in the alley, you were pregnant, and they still didn't spare you." Zelda was like a demon, forcing Jasmine to relive the tormenting memories repeatedly.

Zelda continued glaring at Scarlett until she had to force herself to look away. She closed her eyes, and ran a nervous finger along her hairline. Kellan was staring at her, noting how she got immediately she'd seen Scarlett. Her expression had immediately changed the moment Scarlett stepped into the space. "Are you okay, Zelda? You look like you've seen a ghost." Kellan said with a straight face. "No. No. I'm perfectly fine. Please, come and sit. Forgive my manners." Zelda said, gesturing to the sofas.

The old man teased before shrugging with a harmless expression, and hinted, “Don’t you often have things that you didn’t walk in with?” Zelda slumped despondently onto one of the empty couches and closed her eyes. Moments later, she suddenly sat upright, her eyes flying open. Her gaze narrowed at the old man for a full minute before rushing over and dragging him out. Once outside everyone’s earshot, she asked with urgency, “The soul replenishing bead… give me six.” She extended her hand looking nothing like the ethereal dignified goddess and more like a rogue. Cornelius’s eyes widened as he looked at the scene in front of him. He couldn’t help himself, he forgot he was the dignified supreme

“Apologize for what?” “For being a fucking insensitive prick,” Zelda huffed. She gestured to me. “You’re making her cry.” My eyes widened. “Zelda, it’s really not a big—”

Zelda’s POV I leaned against the office door, feeling a mixture of annoyance and disbelief. Hazel was still seated on the desk, pleasuring herself while pinching her nipples aggressively. I couldn't help but question if this was some kind of kinky roleplay scenario. "Are you sure you're okay? It seems like you're really missing Alpha Ryder," I commented, observing her fingers sliding through her wet folds.

It was like I was moving in a completely different tempo from everyone else. Then I saw her. Zelda. Dressed to kill in her pastel pink jacket, glossy blonde waves, lip gloss popping like she was walking a runway. She stood by the lockers surrounded by her court of bimbos, Tessa and Lila, all smiles and smugness. Her eyes locked on mine. “Look who’s here,” she sang, loud enough for people nearby to tune in. “Queen of the war memorial, looking like she’s seen a ghost.”
