Jayson muttered sarcastically, throwing himself back into his chair while Blake looked like he was practically asleep on the sofa. "Alpha James is leading the attack. There are seven packs involved in total, that includes James' pack. It will happen in two days time before the sun has even risen," I stated. "How do you know this? Are you working with him?" Jayson shouted and I noticed the change in his eyes as they shifted from their usual blue to black within a matter of seconds. His fists were clenching at his side and, though I was terrified because I knew he was seconds away from shifting and murdering me, I still held myself and didn't let him know that I was terrified.

If he could ascend to a martial Path ancestor, he would take up the request to help Zeus destroy the Zago race. "It's a deal! Remember to keep your promise!" Zeus' figure suddenly spoke to Chase. Chase was stunned. Did Zeus just trick him into making the promise? No wonder the figure of Zeus looked different than the others. Damn it! Chase could not help cursing under his breath. The Zago race was very powerful. Their powers were on par with martial Path ancestors and evil beings. Lynn alone had been a headache for him to handle. Yet, Zeus wanted him to destroy the Zago race and take revenge for him.

The brothers' united strength was overwhelming. With a final, desperate howl, Jackson lunged at Chase, but Chase met him head-on, their clash resounding like thunder. The force of their impact sent shockwaves through the battlefield, and for a moment, everything seemed to hang in the balance. Then, Zeus turned his head, grabbing Jackson's tiny skull in its grip. With a triumphant howl, Jackson's monstrous form began to disintegrate, his power unraveling under the pressure of his skull being crushed. Just as Jackson ceased to exist, Zues began wavering through the air, his body disappearing before our eyes.

“You think you can kill me?” Darian steps closer, expression unreadable. “I don’t need to. The world will. Because after today, you no longer have a family. You have no pack. No name. No claim. No power.” Zeus’s eyes widen, flickering with something nearly human, like losing his name cuts deeper than anything else. Then his face twists into rage again. “This isn’t over,” he snarls. Darian’s voice drops low, lethal. “Yes, Zeus. It is.”

His gaze locked onto Yang Xiao’s eyes were filled with a killing intent. “Kid, do you know who I am?” Zeus questioned coldly. Yang Xiao sneered and said, "I don't care who you are. You dare to plot against the little girl Ling'er here. Then you are destined to face a tragedy today!" "A tragedy? Really? With just you?" Zeus laughed disdainfully. Then, Zeus said coldly, "It seems that it's necessary to introduce myself. My name is Zeus. I'm the leader of the Curtain of Night, one of the six European clubs!"

I muttered and claws sharply protruded from his fingers, tearing his couch. "That bastard!" He growled. "He abducted my family again when Green attacked, wait! Now I understand why he was helping Green all along!" "Yes." I nodded. "Zeus stole the Dragon stone and according to my sources, he was also the one who took the witches' gem." "Why did the moon goddess have to mate two monsters together, why?!" "Now is not the time to rant to your moon goddess. We have to focus on playing our cards well." "And how do you suppose we do that?"
