What Is Love?

What Is Love?

All she had to do was pull herself up the wall by placing a peg in one of the many holes going up, again and again, until she reached the top. Taking the peg in her right hand, she reached up and placed it in the highest hole she could reach. She followed with her left and then pulled herself up using just her arms. She froze with her feet off the ground, she counted to ten before removing the right peg and reaching up again, placing it in a higher hole. After counting to seven, she did the same with her left hand. Once both pegs were secure, she pulled herself up again. Repeating the pattern, Nyla inched her way up the wall, counting in between each movement, making sure she wasn’t climbing

The Alpha's Triangle

The Alpha's Triangle

THIRD P.O.V. Zack and his group made it to the far side of the waterfall. The cobblestone was slick with water, making it difficult to get across, but they made it. The hidden cave was behind the waterfall, covered with vines and rusted bars. Zack and Bronx grabbed a hold of the bars and pulled. The motion shook the entire cave, with debris falling in multiple places. “We can’t pull this out without bringing this whole thing down,” Zack said, stepping back. Mary walked up to the bars and examined them before squeezing right through. “Well, that’s one way to do it.”

Hate the fact that she ends up with Isaiah. You should've killed Isaiah instead of James. Zira deserved her true happily ever after! Making them second chance mates is just throwing salt on the wounds of Zira. Basically she went through that crap for nothing, since she ends up right where she starts

I enjoyed this book, I was so glad I was able to read the second part on a different app so that I could see how the story ended for Zira and James. I figured they would end up together because felt hints of a spark, not to mention even when fated to others they still loved each other.

The Walther stared right at her forehead. Her eyes followed his thumb as it pulled the safety pin. A cold sweat dripped down her neck. Her left hand was a few inches away from the pocket knife in her jacket and all she had to do was reach for it without raising any suspicion. Easy, right? The only problem was she realized this guy was not just any crazed Tom, Dick, or Harry that needed some quick cash or anything else to that.

Zac watched, saying nothing. Holding onto the edge of the hole, I expertly swung my legs up like a trapeze artist until I was safely inside, when agents pounded roughly on the heavy metal door, yelling for us to open up. Hooking my legs into the vent, I reached down and grabbed Zac's extended arms and I pulled him up with one arm, then quickly replaced the grate, propping it across the hole, buying us another minute or two.

Yara disagreed and scoffed at the idea. "True. The Zago race has many varieties. I remember some bugs are perfect for surveillance. The slightest disturbance catches their attention. Even if you're two or three major realms higher than them, you still cannot completely hide and sneak in. "For Hoover to steal artifacts from the Zago race with just a few lackeys would be nearly impossible. "So I think it's probably some item this witch uses regularly, or something that has important meaning to her. Something that would make her lose composure and show her true form the moment she sees it," Norm shared his thoughts.

The story starts with a good prologue where the main character defines herself as the son of the family. While reading I thought it was one of those stories that I could predict what would happen next which wasn't the case. It surprises you in a positive way. Catchy! Waiting for the next chapters!
