Zodiac Academy Reading Order Novels & Stories

The need to avoid him was necessary. Silvia stepped out of her room in the early dawn. She had heard Angela talking to her father about Hunter meeting with Lennox. Silvia has never met Lennox but she knows about him and also that he was Hunter's good friend. Her book with magic spells was in the air as she practiced with the pots. After practicing she always cleans the mess. Silvia was drowned in perfecting the spells when all of a sudden she felt eyes on her. She searched for the source and her eyes widened when they met the jade hues that were peering at her with interest. He was leaning against the hood of his car. She was so focused on learning, she didn't hear the roaring of his car.

Though the thoughts about him were forefront now, because I still hadn't come to terms with what almost happened, I had to stop thinking about it now. Maybe later I would take my time to understand it. Maybe. I opened the book slowly, my fingers tracing the frayed and worn edges of the cover, "the chronicle of the six" it stood boldly in gold lettering glaring at me. The letters shimmered faintly and I quickly turned open the first page. "This is the Chronicle of the Six. The first beings born of the moon's light. This record holds their power, their dominion... and the truth before the Great Divide."

I muttered under my breath, shutting the book harder than I meant to. Zack raised an eyebrow but said nothing. I reached for another, a thinner one. The cover nearly tore in my hands, my eyes skimmed quickly, heart thudding. This one spoke of the Moon Goddess and her first chosen wolves born with gifts that could either heal or destroy. Wolves meant to be balance keepers. I swallowed, my wolf stirred inside me at the words, Ella pressing against the surface of my mind. This feels familiar, she whispered. “Find something?” Zack’s voice was low, rumbling in the stillness.

Around us, students filled the hall, whispering and waiting for the judgement. “Murdering a fellow werewolf is unacceptable in this academy and across every pack,” Zeus declared. “Yes! She killed one of our own. She must be punished!” voices roared. The hall shook with shouts. Zima trembled. Her head stayed down, eyes fixed on her feet. Shame wrapped around her like chains. My wolf raged inside me, begging to rip out throats and crush bones, but I forced him down. “Zima of Silverpang Pack,” Zeus thundered, “if this High Court of Nightowl Academy finds you guilty of murder, you will not only be expelled but exiled and banished from all packs.”

The same team where I'm the assistant coach. The Moon Eclipse Pack runs one of the most elite academies in the country. The Moon Eclipse academy—a place that grooms the one percent of the one percent prominent werewolf heirs—Alphas, Betas, Gammas. A place where ranks matter more than brains and where anyone without a prominent family name is disposable.

Selma was less than pleased, but she faced me regardless. Aiden took a deep breath before he proceeded. “The time has come for the heir to the Sanders pack to claim his title. Kade went unchallenged for his title during Battle Season. His… Fated Mate will rule over him. We’ve witnessed the moon goddess’s hand tonight. The Sanders pack will have a long and prosperous reign in the hands of Kaden and Gabriella Sanders.”

Still It didn’t matter as I took a seat down at the high ridden chair and started to read. It wasn’t just a book about simple mythology. It was laced with facts and truths, about what my mate was. The secret behind the hybrid. My eyes widened with even more curiosity, my breath first caught at the ‘Rite of Shadows’—a moon ritual that was strictly forbidden. It was said, that a pregnant Luna who had laid with an Alpha and performs the forbidden dance is bound to create a monster that world plague the world—a hybrid. I couldn’t help but turn the page even further, intrigued by what I read.

Six months later Ace and Sky have assumed the roles of Alpha and Luna within their pack. Krystal is on the verge of welcoming her first cubs—twin boys. Upon discovering her pregnancy, Krystal and Jackson married in anticipation of their arrival. Remarkably, the newborns exhibited assorted eye colors and the ability to move objects telekinetically as infants. Krystal's fear stemmed from the unfamiliarity of such powers within her lineage. Jackson comforted her with a promise to delve into their ancestry for answers. Krystal's abilities were limited to sensing and spellcasting, skills honed through training, and her capacity to transform into a wolf.

Maybe I could use my powers to help those like me who were being banished from different packs. Sadie smiled faintly. “Then let’s get started.” The Dusk Raiders formed a circle around me while Elder Sadie performed the ritual. She used a silver powder to draw symbols on the floor, and she chanted words in a tongue I couldn’t understand. The air became dense, as if it was charged with electricity, and my skin prickled. I knelt in the middle of the circle in full panic mode. Sadie said, “Close your eyes Hazel.” I did as she said.

With trembling hands, I had broken the seal and unfolded the parchment, my heart sinking as I read the words inscribed upon it. The once cryptic message had become alarmingly clear, revealing a truth that sent shivers down my spine. Alpha King Hazel, the ruler of Blood Moon, had descended into madness, his actions veering into the realm of the unthinkable. He had begun turning people into corrupted beings, wielding a power that defied comprehension. Even worse, my beloved was not exempt from his actions, having been the very first to suffer under it.
