Mira chipped in. “It's about what's going on. She doesn't have a scent, what is she?” “What are you guys talking about?” I placed my hands over my head to ease the ache I was feeling but it didn't help. Anytime I looked at them, I could see the wolves from the previous night. It was like my instinct was telling me who they were in image flashes. “Are you okay?” Orion helped me sit back on a tree. “Regular folks have a scent and so does someone that shares our curse. It's unique, different,” Tristan explained with a cold look.

"I don’t understand... How am I still alive?" "You are special, Zahra," Selene says, her gaze filled with an unnerving amount of wisdom "You are a descendant of mine, with gifts you’ve yet to discover. Because of your destiny I gifted you a special wolf, her name is Zanthe. she has been begging me to send her to you early, to help you endure the horrors of your home life. And then last night we had to expedite things, in order to save your life…"

"You'll also be given Healing Powers and will be the Pack Healer, too." "Well, that will go along with my Veterinarian skills." I shrugged. "What else?" "That's the most important," Elias said as we exited the elevator and headed down the hallway toward my suite. "But there are other skills, too." "Like what?" I found this life intriguing now that I was becoming a part of it. Xander shrugged. "The Luna could tell when the full moon was coming and is in touch with astrological happenings." "She could also sense when there are dangerous rogues around, too," Elias added.

“Through ritual and magic, he killed and removed the spider and its web from my head; hence breaking the connection to the priestess and stopping the death process within me. To do this, he needed to infect me with an antidote. This antidote didn’t kill me, but it altered me forever. I am not dead, but I am no longer a mere human. “Megan’s story about the woman wanting to build an army to overthrow the government is just that, a story. Oh, the old woman was working on building an army alright - as are others - but it isn’t to over throw the government. In the darkness of the shadows of life, a war has been raging for centuries. It is between the zombie leaders and the vampires.”

‘Why? ‘You are the only living Astrydian. This means that you will be the beginning of a new race of hybrid Astrydians. The Goddess has determined that the crimes committed against them in the past will result in the most powerful species to be yet.’, Bella explained as she paced. I swallowed hard, fighting back tears again, thinking of the Lycan Prince that I had not yet met and Chase, who I had some pretty intense feelings for, but seemingly couldn’t have.

Ever since she'd seen the news about the release of Wolf in her New Reviews magazine, she'd had a feeling in her gut this was where she needed to look. Jamie had credited a lot of her information to a book titled Legends of the Werewolf. Lia had read and reread the notes her great-grandmother had handed to her in those last sad moments. Notes that told about generations past that came here from Romania and grew the pack. This had to be the book. Legends of the Werewolf. Surely there couldn't be two books with the exact same title.

Angelo explains. "Why do those bastards want Tessa? Why do they need her? And what curse are they talking about?" I demanded answers. "You saw how small they are. They're tiny wolves. Their pathetic compared to wolves up north. I'm guessing you would probably put them to shame." Angelo says. " There is a prophacy that a hybrid can break the curse. That's the most that I know about the curse. I've seen it, but I can't make any sense out of it. All I know is that it describes Tessa." Angelo explained.

With that, I made my way to his SUV. *Author's Note: If you like this book the check out my book ZION on Goodnovel! It is complete and is a Romance novel with fantasy elements! All you have to do is search for the book and you will find it! Remember to drop a review of what you think!

"I'll let you run, once we get into the woods, we have a lot of things to do, and it wouldn't take long before the day turns dark. You'd just slow us both down if I let you run." "It's only 10 in the morning, and you're worried about the day getting dark soon, besides you know that's not true, I'm one of the fastest Zeta's alive, and outrunning you wouldn't be a problem. " "Fastest Zeta alive huh? Have you met other Zeta's? You know you're the only Zeta in Brookdale, and you're slow, You probably wouldn't be able to outrun the Zeta in Day's Creek.. She's much more faster than you. " I teased, my lips curled into a wicked grin.

“Of course. Every wolf pup grows up on those tales. The Winters were the first.” “They weren’t just rulers by bloodline. Their power came directly from her. The Moon Goddess doesn’t pass the crown by politics or succession. She chooses an heir. And when she does, markings appear on that wolf’s skin, intricate, glowing patterns that reveal themselves fully under a full moon. Those marks are her claim, her seal. And with them comes power unlike anything else in our world.” Victoria’s eyes narrowed, her mind moving quickly. “And you’re saying… Celeste…”
