"A long, long time ago, before any of you were born, before I was born too, a witch fell in love with a very handsome wolf, it was forbidden but they were helpless. They had what we can call a sweet hide-and-seek relationship until a vampire fell in love with her. It then became complicated, at that time she was pregnant for the wolf and was doing her best to hide from the vampire. When he found

“Are you kidding me? Haven’t you heard the stories that our ancestors told? Maybe you didn’t in your old pack. It is rumored that any wolf obtained on the same day of an event such as a solar eclipse would have an unfathomable amount of power. Any mate that is taken by that wolf has to also be unmatched in strength. Otherwise, the more powerful wolf would kill the other by mistake. If the mate of the wolf born on the day of a solar eclipse and summer solstice is born first on a regular day then he or she will obtain their power once marked by their mate. It is also said that there is a reason for a wolf with this strength to be born. It is to fight against a great evil rising up out of the d

He explained, “It would make this existence much more bearable.” “Well, did you have anything you wanted to talk about to get your mind off it?” I asked, trying to get him to spend some time with me. Liam nodded in response. “In fact, I do have something I would like to inquire about Ms. Aka.” Liam started, turning towards me, “Would you happen to know about the zodiac signs?” “Oh uh...I don’t think so, no.” I responded, curious as to where he was going with this. “I see. They are signs that describe different people based on their dates of birth, times, and days.” Liam explained, “I was wondering if you could share your date of birth with me so I can get a general idea of your sign.”

Lean, paper on clipboard ready. "Um, I know I'm supposed to be Virgo, by the zodiac, but I know, since I asked Mrs. Loop, that Boötes tends to be my major constellation," answers Hala. I recall that class we went through our constellations, and my constellation, by the zodiac, should be Gemini. But, after an analysis that we did in class as an activity, I got to the conclusion that I'm Monoceros. I didn't know what that was, but it's a unicorn, and I remember that all the time. At the time too, I found out Leonard's birthday, April 22nd, which would put him as Taurus, but then he told me he's more Eridanus, the river. Which seems to match. Taurus usually is associated with an inclination to

I would give her the moon if she asked me. That thought reminded me of a story my first mate told me when we were newly mated. The wolf was in love with a human and she told him she would become his if he gave her the moon. He searched the world and found a lake where the moon was huge and touched the water. The wolf told the moon about his love, but the moon just laughed at him and disappeared when the day broke. The second night when the moon appeared just above the lake, the wolf pleaded with him, but the moon just laughed at him and disappeared as soon as day broke. On the third night, the wolf was ready for the moon. He had spent the entire day setting a trap and when the moon started t

"My father told me those stories. But why are you asking me about him?" "I will tell you a story that not many people know about him. He was the result of the moon goddess' affair with a man named Mars. She fell in love with this man and took the form of a mortal to sleep with him. She took in from that and revealed to the man who she was, but she could not stay here because if others discovered who she was, you know what would happen. She stayed with him and gave birth to the child, a son they named Mota Rolfe. He was as handsome as his father and had powers from his mother. He could control the four elements of the universe and was trained by his father, a great warrior, to become strong.

It's my fault why they weren't able to attend this event. Archmaster just sighed and shook his head. “Let’s not waste our time to people who aren’t here. Let’s have Ms. Deborah Castro. She’s the chosen Taurus, the bull of the Zodiacs.” He didn't waited for much time and moved over to the next zodiac. Aw, I was the one who should be blamed here.

“She also used to tell me stories about those born under a Blood Moon. She said the moon’s light on that night was both a blessing and a burden. Those born under it are destined to rise to positions of great power.” I pause, suddenly worried I’ve just ruined the mood with something way too heavy. Xander is gazing into the flames, looking thoughtful. “That’s pretty intense stuff,” he says, finally meeting my eyes. “Was it a prophecy or just a story?” “Only a story,” I say quickly, trying to brush it off. “I’m sure there’s not much to it.”

I was starting to understand what she meant. "What am I," I said. Zane looked at the silver thread at my wrist. "Have you ever heard of the Moon Goddess's Chosen?" he said. "It's a story," I said. "Something the elders tell children. The Moon Goddess picks one wolf each generation, seals their power at birth so it grows without limit, and when the seal breaks the wolf becomes—" I stopped. "Becomes what," he said. Quiet. Watching me. "Becomes the most powerful wolf alive," I said. "It's a children's story."
