Roman frowned. “You think he’s still out there?”
“I think the Blood Moon doesn’t destroy—it transforms. And whatever it did to him, it’s not over.”
For a long moment, he said nothing. Then, softly, “Then we prepare.”
I turned to face him. “For what?”
“For what comes next.”
