I saw this as another great improvement since we began to train and another step closer to our win against Andrew and his vampires. The Warriors have been here with me for the past few days, training hard. Although they don't stay back, as they go back after we trained for the day. For those few days, the warriors have continued to insist on accepting the power of the Moon Goddess from the sceptre. Even though it was during the process of receiving it, they never allowed it to be a problem or hindrance to them for what they truly seek. I was sure that if they were given more days to do this, the eleven warriors who are now Mighty Wolves could eventually become Devine Wolves. And if that happ

" There is a meeting this evening to sort things out" " If they don't agree to anything, we are fucked" I pointed my fork at my brother." They are the richest, strongest and most ancient pack ever. We will lose if we get into a war with them" " Let's hope it doesn't come to that, Zara" He shakes his head." Enough of that, what are you doing for your birthday tomorrow" " Anything apart from finding a mate" My brother found his mate on his 21st birthday just like most werewolves. He and beth had dated for two years, before going through the ceremony to see if they were mates.

I asked softly as my fingers went instinctively up to touch the piece of jewelry around my neck. His eyes softened as he sighed. “You have chosen a different path by marking the Lycan King and can no longer be the Warrior Goddess that you were meant to become,” he stated plainly and I gasped. “What?! But I want to become that!” Shrugging, he growled, “It's too late. Warriors are mateless, and I know that your mother explained that to you.” Devastated beyond words I lowered my eyes to my shaking hands and clenched my teeth.

Warriors scrambled as debris rained down, panic rippling through the crowd. “The Covenant!” Caden shouted. Arrows tipped with black fire streaked through the air, striking torches and banners. Shadows surged through the breach, cloaked figures wielding cursed blades. My eyes burned with fury. “They dare attack my fortress?” I shifted into my wolf form with a thunderous crack of bone and sinew. Massive and obsidian-furred, my golden eyes blazed with lethal authority. “Protect the Luna!” Caden commanded. But Zara did not retreat. She rather stepped forward. “No,” she said firmly. “I stand with my people.” Silver light igniting along her skin.

war wouldn’t just happen between kingdoms anymore. It would happen between species, and Zara might become the thing that burns all of them alive trying to survive it.

And somehow I agreed with her. Love was bullshit. “So, what did you find out?” I asked. Ruby shifted on her chair and folded her arms. “The tattoo you showed me was a pack sigil alright,” she said. “It belongs to a pack named Mystic Warriors.” “That I know. What else?” “Well, this is one of the most ancient packs to have ever existed. And when I say ancient, I mean ancient. It’s said that of all the packs that the Moon Goddess created, Mystic Warriors was one of them. This pack is a warrior pack and the first ever Alpha was named Achilleus. He was the greatest warrior to have existed in our entire history. All members, true blood of the Mystic Warriors pack were born with incredible strength

And with all the training I had received since joining the Gamma Warrior program, I could keep my shapely body and build strength and stamina. Shifting is a nasty business, not to forget the pain.

But despite their fear, they were determined to break through our defenses and claim what they believed was rightfully theirs. But I also knew that this battle would not be won easily. Our enemies were powerful, and they had no qualms about using any means necessary to achieve their goals. Just then, Sophia appeared by my side, her sudden appearance causing me to jump in surprise. "Luna, you and your warriors can attack now," she said, her voice calm and steady. And with those words, she vanished
