Zodiacs Hunter X Hunter Novels & Stories

“It is you that needs to reveal themselves.” “I am Empress Zelda. Ruler of the Wanix and the land of Gynem.” “I am Alpha Hunter of the Luan Pack.” We were met with a moment of silence at first. “Knock out the wolf, take the Empress.” “No!” Hunter roared. Before he could even shift, one of the figures swung a large piece of wood that connected with the back of his head. He fell to the ground with a loud thud and did not move. “Hunter?" I cried.

She smiles to herself and clicks her fingers. Nothing happens. I still hear the heavy breathing of her oblivious guards. I still hear the beating heart of my mate. “What was supposed to happen?” I stare at her, but I also feel Xavi watching me. She clicks her fingers again, and then again, growing more irritated when nothing happens. ‘Nothing happened?’ Xavi asks, concern etched in his tone. “What the hell are you?!” Thalia snaps “A Hunter. A Witch Hunter.” I mutter just as there is an explosion somewhere above us.

To my surprise, Alpha Hunter pulled me closer to him by my waist, his expression hard on Troy, “Cassandra is my Luna, Troy. She is not just another member of the pack. She deserves to be there and have her opinion. Now that she’s marked, her voice matters in every meeting of the council.” I wanted to tell Hunter that it was okay for me not to attend after I saw Troy’s jaw stiffen and his eyes darken, “You can go first love. I think I need to talk with my brother first.” He paused for a bit and stared at me in the eyes. I smiled at him to let him know everything was fine and touched his arm, “I will be okay. I am with my brother.” Before he left, he gave Troy a nod and I could tell there was

I pushed fast forward until he started speaking again, unable to listen to him struggling to breath. ‘Since fate has decided that you don’t need me anymore…’ I opened my mouth to respond when he continued speaking, ‘No, darling, you don’t. Trust me, you’re ready. I want to tell you some things that you are going to need to know. First thing is first, though, angel, hunting. The bird calls we used to practice each have a different meaning.” A shrill, high energy whistle filled the room and Carson’s ears twitched. “This one calls to the bears. It means you need help.’

Ronan asked. The man flinched, just slightly, but it was enough. I saw it in his eyes—the moment he knew we’d caught on. I bent down, grabbing his hand and turning it to the side, exposing the faint mark etched into his skin. My growl rumbled in my throat. "He's a hunter." "Fuck," he hissed, the rope snapping as his claws swiped through the air where I’d just been. He bolted, but he wasn’t fast enough.

“We all know the only way hunters would have made it through that veil is if access was granted to them. And…” “One of us,” I sigh, feeling a migraine coming on. Luca and Nyra are right. Someone who has the power to scale through that veil unscathed must have helped them. And it cannot have been a regular pack member. It’s someone much stronger. “And how are we even sure they are hunters?” Nyra says, her hand reaching for a shirt on the floor before she decides against it, the look of disgust in her eyes. “I mean, it could be anything, right?”

Covering up the hole with some moss, she dusted off her dress and hurried home, her thoughts of the Hunters exposing her long gone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "They're here! The Hunters have arrived!" The cries of the young boys ran through the whole village, many men and women coming out to see the sight. Liam riding in front, followed by nine other men, all on horseback. On the back of Liam's horse was the dead carcass of a mountain lion, and his quiver held an unusual number of arrows. Instead of the standard twelve like the rest of the men in his party, it held 15, two from the archer who had shot the beast earlier, as well as the arrow aimed to warn him.

He then spitefully grinned at me, changing his serious mood. “What are you?” I staidly inquired. This is the first time I set an eye upon such a demon-like creature and based on my encounter with that other devil; they are riskier to fight than 'normal young to average' dragons. “What am I, huh, you are the second person who asked that question.” He deliberately informed, “But I will give you a different answer.” After a deep sigh, he replied, “I am a hunter.” I narrowed my gaze, furiously thinking about events and people that are connected to the word ‘hunter’, but none. Not a single memory about it. He mentioned a ‘bounty’ earlier. Is it about it?

I watch her pupils flare, because for Tori that sentence is Christmas. “It’s called a gashadokuro. Supposedly cobbled together from the bones of people who starved to death and who weren’t buried properly.” I half-lift the cast. "It threw me into a tree. Broke the arm, opened the forearm, caused the stitches in my hairline and the cut on my face. That was the first fight. Four days later we dropped ninety feet of oak on its skull." "We." "The pack and me. Unfortunately a dozen hunter trainees were dropped into the middle of our trap because the council sent children after an unconfirmed sighting with a pep talk and the wrong ammunition."

He stood beside me, his new silver-gold fur shimmering in the moonlight. He wasn't just my mate anymore; he was the Global Host. His heartbeat was the System Clock for the new world. "I can feel them. Thousands of wolves... thousands of humans. They're waking up to a world that doesn't follow the old rules. And they are terrified."
