Zoey Parker Author Novels & Stories

We had each other and that is what it meant when two people decided they would fight together. Zoey is the main character, she’s just a pup, and she begins to glow with her eyes turning a deep blue. She was panting slightly and sat up, lifting her hands to call into being the magic that ran through her body. I could sense the primal energy rising within her to combat the evil, I could hear probing at us for weakness.

Looks like nothing has changed in this pack. 'You all may know me, but let me introduce myself. I smiled at them. I will be your worst nightmare. I am the... the best female warrior of my pack, not just a warrior, an enforcer... I am Zoe Berry. As soon as my name is said, there is a commotion with the Blue Mountain pack Warriors. "Pfft, there is no way that you are Zoe Berry. Zoe was ugly and definitely not a warrior. She was weak and wofless," a girl said, i remember her, Carol, one of Laura's lackies.

I laid on the bed thinking about my conversation with the not so ‘mysterious woman’ at the party a few weeks ago. “I forgot what it takes to fit into a rich party especially when it's a private one like this.” She added as soon as she mentioned my grandmother. “Excuse me, who are you? And what do you know about my grandmother?” I inquired, raising my eyebrow in questioning. “You mean ‘our’ grandmother.” She retorted and I frowned looking into her eyes even deeper. “I'm Zoey, daughter of Bianca Park, your mother's sister. I'm a pediatrician at Park & Brown's hospital in Freedom, about four hours drive from here.” She flipped her brown curly hair and stared at me with sincerity, while I stood

Having a stranger in my house brought back memories I didn't wish to dwell on. "It's good to take a walk in your leisure, to clear your mind." Her voice was almost a whisper. Zoey was soft-spoken. I'd never seen her yell before. She was the perfect example of the saying, 'Never judge a book by its cover'. She looked innocent, and her voice was the same. However, the darkness brewing inside of her would be enough to wreak havoc on a city.

* Not close enough to touch, not close enough to speak to, but close enough that my lungs burned with the memory of her. I exhaled, leaning back against the seat, my fingers tapping against the leather seat. The pack warriors were spread out nearby, waiting for my signal to move. But for now, I just wanted to savor this—the quiet, the lingering trace of her, the way my pulse had finally slowed for the first time in months. Then— Knock. Knock. Knock. I turned my head, and my breath caught. Zoey. Her hair was piled messily on top of her head, loose strands framing her face. A hospital bracelet dangled from her wrist, and there was a faint bruise blooming along her temple. She looked exhausted.

“Something that shows the people the real you. And it will benefit Freddie's negotiations.” I sat confused. Somehow, I didn't think me in fishing gear eating donuts or throwing a backyard barbecue with a cooler of beer was going to help Freddie's trade work. “Zoey, you're a nurse, right?” Sophie continued. When I nodded she turned back to Liam. “So have her go to the hospital.”

"How in Goddess's name did that motherfukcker come in here? This isn't a pleasure park where anyone can freely stroll in." Zoey paled at the question but she would not easily give herself away. She was too much of a manipulator and a schemer to spill her shit over some mere interrogations. "I don't know. I just got attacked and that's it. Now, all I'm asking is that you don't make a big deal out of it." "He seemed like he knew you too well. The way you walked him out screamed authority. Like you're his boss or something. Is there something you're not telling me, Zoey?"

As if the person had been waiting for him. It was Zoey, and gone was her usual baggy jean, and long-sleeved top or wool sweater. She was wearing a plaid, pleated skirt that barely even got to her knee. A white cropped shirt that showed her cream colored belly, and a cropped hoodie that covered her hair. To fucking crown it all, she had net stockings, and loafers. Fucking net stockings that disappeared into the skirt she was wearing. Were they doing a student-professor role play he wasn’t aware of?

I felt myself connecting to the earth and the pain in my cheek softening. The next day the guest were leaving the packhouse. Luckily I had to work, so I could avoid everyone today. It was pretty busy today, because Noah was at the packhouse to say goodbye to everyone. So Zoey had offered to help her mother at the register. That meant I was in the pack slicing meat and cheese most of the day. During lunchbreak Zoey headed over and apologized ‘Elias told me what happened with Liam. I am so sorry. I am supposed to be your friend. And the girl I was talking to wasn’t that great anyway’. Trying to draw attention away from my situation I asked ‘what wasn’t that great? You seemed to be hitting it o

Still, she blurted, "Jay Parker." The nurse looked up the name in the system and said, "I'm sorry, but we don't have a patient with that name." "No?" Zoe became agitated. "I just saw him come here…" "He might be visiting a patient—" "So he really was cheating?!" Zoe cried out in agitation. On the other hand, the nurse found Zoe looking familiar, and recognized her soon enough, "Wait, aren't you Zoe York?" "Oh, uh…" "I'm a big fan! I've shipped you and Mr. Parker all this while! Did you come looking for him? He just went in," the nurse said, suddenly a lot more talkative.
