Yanlong immediately extended the blood string, swung the string around the zombie's neck, arm stuck in the swivel chair and swivel chair's base, tied a knot.

Her skin was ashen and her breathing labored. I exhaled painfully and my eyes darkened and claws sprang from my fingers. I turned and saw Kazack had turned into his vampire beast. I whipped my chains and cracked them in his direction. He jumped and twisted to avoid my soul eaters. He may be fast for a vampire but he's not gifted with an assassin's speed and grace. I whipped them again, turning my wrist and grin. My chain twisted around his neck and with a flick of my wrist his head fell from his body.

Saint says with an evil smile, his fangs showing and making him look more devilish. Saint nods his head at his men and they immediately grab Maxwell, holding his hands still on the chop board. “I am sorry. Please, please. Don't do this. I beg you." Maxwell starts to cry, fear written clearly on his face as he begs Saint. He searches around for someone to save him from this devil, bit everyone just watched on silently. His pleas fall on deaf ears as Saint ignores them. Saint raises the knife, bringing it down on his wrist and successfully chopping his hands off.

She shook her head, but her expression became hopeful and as they walked between the cages on their search for keys, she came to the door of her cage and wrapped her fingers around the bars, watching. There were twelve cages. Five with werewolf families in them, five with their males. One of the cages held a zombie missing its lower torso but still trying to drag itself across the floor in order to menace the man in the final cage. A man who wore a Van Helsing uniform and sat on his cot, his back to the zombie, his posture defeated. There was a bandage on his forearm.

Sharp, polished, and meant to destroy. Midnight-black hair fell carelessly across his forehead, and his eyes—those eyes—burned with an unnatural crimson glow. A devil’s gaze. No humanity, just hunger.
