How nice, she thought, to live so close to a place where you could shift and run any time you wanted to. Her legs ate up the ground as she ran unfettered, weaving in and out among the trees, feeling the kiss of the wind on her fur. Overhead, she heard the songs of the many varieties of night birds that made their homes in this wonderful place nature provided. She noticed the small animals inhabiting the place - raccoons, porcupines, even armadillos gave her a wide berth. She wanted to tell them she meant them no harm but fear of the wolf was in their genes. Since she'd left home three days ago, she hadn't been able to shift. Nothing exceptional about the spot at all, and definitely nothing related to a silver fox. In fact, I don't know if we even get foxes in the park. Even though it's actually one of the largest urban forests in the whole United States (true fact), it's not like we have wolves or bears or even foxes for that matter. Not that I know of, anyway.

King Lancelot A forest of pine trees stood tall and proud, their needles whispering in the wind. In the center of the clearing, a circle of foxes stood, their tails waving gently. In the very center of the circle, a throne sat, carved from the finest wood. On the throne, an ancient fox rested, his eyes closed in repose. The other foxes stood guard, their ears alert for any sign of danger. The scene was peaceful, yet there was a sense of anticipation in the air, as if something momentous was about to happen.

Joanna shouted. "Guys!" I shouted, cutting through their conversation, "Wait, where's Thane?!" Immediately the words left my mouth, my palms moistened, and my body shook slightly. "He's here!" A realization hit me like a strong slap across the face, and my body shook violently, "Thane!"

Hunter youth Zhang Fan recognized the five beasts. The five Ominous Beasts were called Foxy Wolf Beasts. They were a hybrid of ferocious fox and wolf. Judging from their sizes, they were not fully grown yet. Usually, a beast's level could be distinguished by its Demon Aura.
