Zora's POV I stood on the tarmac of the private airfield, the sea breeze blowing through my long hair. No gunpowder. No bitter whiskey. No cheap, cloying perfume. Just the salty, free air of the Mediterranean. A silver Maserati pulled up, and a man got out. Lorenzo Falcone. I'd seen his picture a hundred times, but seeing him in person was something else. He was taller than Colter. More elegant. And far more dangerous.

"You plan on killing everyone." "And I plan on starting with you," Zora whispered as she pushed her hands through the portal. Rings adorned every finger, and bangles clinked on her wrists as she gestured for Lila to approach. “Your fortune is not written in stars or cards,” Zora said, her voice a smoky contralto that filled the small space. She spoke without looking up from the crystal ball, where mist seemed to swirl. “It is written in your flesh. In the curve of your hip, the swell of your breast, the heat between your legs. Cedric said, trying to hold his anger, and the chairman turned to Mark, who had his eyes focused on the road, unbothered by Cedric’s report. “I saw Zora, and he let her go. She’s in City A, and she’s lonely. She has nobody on her own. She is on the street. The celebratory sounds soon ceased for a moment, and Zora continued facing Kieran and Melinda, his deep and commanding, "Um… I am Zora Leondros, the king of this den. Every so often, they don't meet when Zara went on business trip with her boss as she was an in-house editor for a writing company. “Well, this girl is finally getting what she wants and has attained her goal.” Lora replied after a short time of silence passed.
