They burst through the door at the top of the stairs with a fierce battle cry, clad in heavy armor, and wielding massive battle axes, silver swords, spears, and some warriors even completely transformed into their wolf form, but Zora resisted them, and he got back on his feet. Zora, a gigantic figure towering over the trooping warriors. He roared out loud to assert his dominance and instill fear into his surging opponents. He scrambled to grab an axe from Casandra’s stack of weapons, and with ease, he moved through the warriors with precision, skill, and ridiculous speed, taking down each warrior with deadly accuracy.

Disintegrate. The warrior struggles up. Wounds closing where her light touched him. Skin knitting together. He rejoins the fight. She turns. Already moving to the next. A beacon of silver fire cutting through corruption. Unstoppable. Deadly. On our left flank—Zora. Her jaws ripping. Claws tearing. A blur of violence. Three kills in seconds. Throat. Spine. Skull. Her rogues following. Coordinated. Experienced. One of my warriors goes down. Overwhelmed. Four rogues on him.

ZARA POV A low groan escaped Hero’s lips, a sound that vibrated against my skin. “Fuckkk,” he breathed, his voice thick with desire. “I want you to know that you have gotten very good at this… incredibly good. I crave more, and more, Zara. So much more.” I couldn’t help the smirk that spread across my face. Leaning forward, I met his gaze, my own pleasure building with a surprising, almost overwhelming intensity. “I had a good teacher all along,” I whispered, my voice a little breathless.

~Third Person’s POV~ “Where in the hell are you Zara?” Xavier shouts as he walks towards the porch to search for her. He doesn’t see her all over the place and keeps on searching for her but doesn’t find her until he sees her in the balcony of three storied house playing with herself while she hands on the railings of the balcony. “Zara! Zara!” he shouts as he storms towards her. “Xavier! What are you doing over here?” her playful voice makes him smile while worrying for her.

She seemed very weak. "No. The Eyeless. Morton. She is the Eyeless" Hart shouted excitedly. "The Zombie fighter" Morton moaned. "What is she doing here?" he asked in confusion. "I don't know" Jansen let go of her. "You know I've been planning to meet you one day and pick it up with you. I just wish my boss here allows me to have a fight with you today" Hart walked towards her. He grabbed her arms and wanted to lift her on her feet.

I shriek and raise my arms, ready for him to tear into my flesh. But Korrin moves faster. He jumps like a cat and lands on Felix’s back, causing the large werewolf to whimper. Then he opens his mouth and releases a sound I can’t pick up on, but Felix immediately starts bleeding from his eyes and nose. And then he falls down on the ground, whimpering while Korrin keeps his focus. He is glaring at Felix even as he climbs to his feet to look down at the Alpha. So this is the power of a zareth…

-ZOYA- I stare at his back, speechless. Ragnar deflecting was extra annoying, but I know he wasn't kidding about the five minutes. I type in Xander's number, my heart racing faster with every digit. It might have been from the adrenaline from the fight... or the tension. How would Xander react? Maybe he wished I was dead like every other person... Maybe he no longer wants anything to do with me. "Who is this?" Xander's cool voice cuts through my thoughts.

"Let go of me." "Hmm." Zorro’s grip lingered for a moment longer before he finally released her, but he didn't step back. If anything, he leaned in further, his breath ghosting over her skin. "You should be careful where you linger, Halo. Some conversations are private for a reason." She turned swiftly, intending to put distance between them, but the moment she did, she found herself face-to-face with him. He was thinner than Talon, broad in the shoulders, rough blonde hair, and light green eyes full of curiosity.

Alexa looked out the window in Zara's room at the green and blue of the ocean. "Whatever you choose, I just want the best for you two, no matter who they are, whether it's Oliver, Theo, or any other guy, I'll support you as long as you're happy. "Zara stood up and approached Alexa's body and hugged her despite her growing belly, but it wouldn't prevent her from hugging the body of a wingless angel. ******* Oliver continued to smile while turning every page of the novel in his hand, sitting in front of the window of the room that he deliberately opened. His eyes never left to read every romantic verse in the novel.

“Just come back to me, Xanthea!” Another zap and her chest arched violently, her eyes opening wide. A faint, trembling beat fluttered beneath my palm. Once. Twice. Sharp, frantic coughs wrenched her heart back to life. Before her unsteady eyes could find mine, before my own heart could settle, I pulled her into a hug, my heart reviving against hers. Zxlorthon immediately cut off my access to his power, and my bones felt as if they’d been scorched from the inside out.
