Despite the grandeur of the room, there was an unmistakable undercurrent of unease that even the ancient walls could not contain. El-Kharis sat at one end of the table, his posture rigid, eyes fixed on the other members of the Council. To his left sat Zareon, the Demon of Earth, his massive frame nearly blending with the stone of his chair. His presence was as immovable as the mountains he commanded. To El-Kharis's right was Azazel, the demoness whose allure was as dangerous as her cunning. She avoided El-Kharis's gaze, her thoughts clearly elsewhere.

Jhon quickly entered a room that was separated from the room where we were sitting. He carried a box with the equipment in it. He took out a candle and an Ouija Board. John takes out a candle holder that has three placemats. One candle holder in the middle is higher than the rest of the holder. John turned on one by one and sat back down with us. Laura held the Ouija Board in front of her. She said that the board game was the medium used by Beverly and her friends to call Zorro. But she would not summon the entity. Laura asked the spirit that Walter had killed to show us the way.

I said as I took a sip from the tea. “A demon.” A demon? Then… Roshan… “Roshan is a demon too.” She said. My throat felt suddenly dry and I gulped the tea down even though it was hot. “Careful.” Irene looked at me with a worried expression. “Hazel, do you believe in angels?” Why was she suddenly asking this? Am I about to meet an angel as well? Can we take one creature at a time? “Yes,” “Than why is it difficult to believe in demons?”

Therefore, today they would call the spirits of the dead in this abandoned house to ask about the situation. Everyone started to sit in a circle. Candles were lit around to create an atmosphere and connect the door between the living and the dead. The host placed a low table made of the wood of the chest board and placed the Ouija board on top. He asked everyone to put their hands on the planchette and focus their energies. The celebrant began the invocation of the soul.

I said feeling uneasy. “Gladly. Are you okay? You don’t sound it.” I didn’t want to deal with Michael’s concern when I heard it this time for sure in his voice. “No, I will be fine. Any update on the demon?” I asked, changing the subject. “Nada. Lou is back in his hole gathering info, in his own special way, and I am waiting for word from Zaqiel. He’s upstairs checking the archives for witches born in the 19th century with the amount of power to force a demon possession. That neat little object the witch obtained, after some fact checking, can only allow the demon to torment the cursed, but possession has to be forced. Be it human or otherwise.” Michael's words bumped around my brain. I must

"—but I promise, I'm not playing with you now. No tricks. I don't want to see you die—" "So I may die from this? That's what you're telling me? You brought me here…to die… potentially by a demon I have personally domesticated?" "Maybe don't say that?" Zee pinched the bridge of his nose, the many piercings lacing up his ears glittered like stars in his dark blue skin. "Better yet—don't say anything at all! Just stay silent and let me do all the talking, yeah? Great talk!" "Fuck—" Zee raised up a leg and kicked the door in. Revealing a room covered in dead bodies with Jonathan literally sitting on a throne of them. "—you?"

Zach nodded gravely. "Which one?" she pressed, the urgency in her voice unmistakable. "Rito Lopez, one of Miss Samantha's patients," Zach revealed. Dryzza’s gaze dropped to the floor as she processed the information. "Does this mean those children were killed by the same demon that took Dr. Andersen?" Zach exhaled deeply, leaning back in his swivel chair. "Have you ever heard of a demon dumping its victims' bodies in cement-filled barrels and tossing them into a river?"

I rarely get nauseous when using this power, but whenever I do, it’s usually caused by something powerful. There’s a powerful demon here, no doubt. From my vision, I start to see Zurich—or at least something that’s attached to Zurich’s body. There are blood red strings all over his body, making him seem like a human puppet. There’s no doubt that he’s being controlled, but by WHAT?
