The whiskey in my hand sloshes back and forth as my body trembles. I’m not sure if it’s anger, rage, sadness, frustration. Hell, it could be a combination of each and every one of those emotions. Bright orange stares up at me from my desk like a menacing monster. Thick with the contents of my torn up heart tucked inside.

She could feel his rapid pulse jumping against his skin. She let him hug her, but she was perplexed. She could feel something from him, as if he were in sorrow during this period of uncertainty. It spun off him in surges. His misery and anguish. His remorse. His guilt. There was so much emotion churning inside him that it was tangible and thick in the air.

The door slams shut leaving me alone in the room. My eyes widen in alarm as my stomach churns and I throw up the breakfast I had this morning. -- Gia: The ride back home is quiet. People say anger is one of the strongest emotions, but I don’t agree. Silence is. Being silent means you have been robbed of all your emotions, it means numbness. At that moment, you don’t feel anything. Not even anger, pain, sadness. You just feel...empty.

What is this weakness of an emotion? I shook as waves of emotion rolled through me—anger, sadness, confusion, and that hollow ache in my chest that wouldn’t let up. My emotions are like a vagabond - I feel literally nothing. I don't know how to explain it; I was born this way, and I don't feel any emotion."
